Pickup and drop-off at Schiphol: how it works
Wherever you start, the routine at the airport is the same. Heading to Schiphol? Your driver drops you off at the correct departure hall. Being picked up? You receive the driver's name, number plate and phone number in advance, plus the agreed pickup point at Schiphol Plaza, with 60 minutes of free waitingafter landing. Prefer to be welcomed inside the arrivals hall with a name sign? Add the Meet & Greet service (+ €30, available with Premium, Van and VIP; included with VIP pickups from Schiphol).
Kiss & Ride, parking, or door-to-door?
The Kiss & Ride at Schiphol is the short-stop zone at Schiphol Plaza for private cars. Stopping briefly to drop someone off is fine; waiting is not. If a flight is delayed, whoever comes to get you has to drive on or head into the short-stay car park.
Driving yourself means parking at Schiphol: short-term parking near the terminal is pricey per day, and long-term parking still adds up on longer trips. From roughly 3-4 days away, a return taxi from most towns works out cheaper than short-term parking, and nobody has to circle the Kiss & Ride for you.
No taxi app, no app pick-up point
