A short route via the A9 and A4
From Lijnden the motorway is on the doorstep: the village lies flush against the A9 where it crosses into the polder at the Lijndenbrug. The driver follows the A9 a short way south to the Badhoevedorp interchange, switches to the A4 and reaches the Schiphol exit within minutes: around 16 minutes in total for the 11 kilometres outside the busy hours.
A ride this short leaves little room for delay; only the Badhoevedorp interchange and the airport's feeder roads can slow things in the morning and evening rush, stretching the trip to a good quarter of an hour or slightly more.
The driver knows the polder and its direct links well and steers you along the quickest way to the correct terminal.
Lijnden sits right on the A9, by the Lijndenbrug, and from there it is only 11 kilometres to the departures hall via the Badhoevedorp interchange and the A4. On a ride that short, the last few kilometres decide everything.
In the afternoon rush traffic can bunch up around Badhoevedorp and on the approach roads to the airport. A European flight at 07:00 leaves less room for doubt. Two hours ahead means 05:00 at Schiphol, the ride then takes around 16 minutes, and with 15 minutes in reserve the driver collects you at 04:25 on the Akerdijk, the Raasdorperweg or at a company building along the A9.
Lijnden has no railway station; the stations nearby are in Halfweg-Zwanenburg and Hoofddorp. At that hour, a ride from your door is the direct route to Schiphol. The fare does not depend on the hour: Comfort is €42 by day or night, and no surcharge exists for nights, weekends or peak hours.
