Your ride from The Hague
You arrange a taxi from The Hague to Schiphol via Schipholride at a fixed all-in price from €105 (Comfort), and the 47 kilometres take roughly 40 minutes outside peak hours. During the morning or evening rush the trip can stretch to around 60 minutes, so set your pickup time accordingly. If you are standing on the kerb in Segbroek or Escamp before a 07:00 flight with two suitcases and a pushchair, that margin counts. The amount you book is complete: VAT, luggage and the parking costs at Schiphol are included, and for a 04:00 ride you pay no night surcharge. You choose from four classes — Comfort €105, Premium €125, Van (5-8 people) €140 and VIP €210 — and a screened driver is at your door at the agreed time.
From the centre, Haagse Hout or Scheveningen the driver usually takes the N44 past Wassenaar, which becomes the A44 via Oegstgeest and Sassenheim towards the Burgerveen interchange; there you join the A4 towards Amsterdam and take the Schiphol exit. If you live in Leidschenveen-Ypenburg, Laak or Escamp, the A4 via the Prins Clausplein interchange is often the more obvious choice — the same motorway, but reached from the south-east side of the city. On weekdays the morning and evening rush on the A44 and A4 is the bottleneck: count on a driving time of up to around 60 minutes instead of around 40. Two local points to keep in mind: the Kaagbrug bascule bridge on the A44 near Sassenheim can be open, and on summer days beach traffic to and from Scheveningen and Wassenaar adds extra congestion on the N44. The driver picks the fastest option at the moment of departure.

Frequently asked questions
What time should I leave The Hague for a 07:00 flight?+
Work back from your flight time: a comfortable 2 hours for check-in plus around 40 minutes of driving means a pickup around 04:15. That early there is no rush on the A44 or A4, so those 40 minutes are realistic. For such an early ride you pay no night surcharge — the fixed rate stays the same.
Which route does the driver take from The Hague to Schiphol?+
From the north side of the city usually the N44/A44 past Wassenaar and Leiden to the Burgerveen interchange and then the A4 to Schiphol; from Ypenburg, Laak or Escamp often straight onto the A4 via the Prins Clausplein. Can I also be picked up in Scheveningen, Loosduinen or Leidschenveen-Ypenburg?+

Isn't the train from Den Haag Centraal faster than a taxi?+
There is a direct intercity from Den Haag Centraal to Schiphol in about 28 minutes — a fine option if you travel light and live close to the station. The taxi wins on door-to-door: from Segbroek or Loosduinen you are often just as quick once you include the journey to the station, without hauling suitcases, and it also runs at 04:00.
