Your ride from Amsterdam
Amsterdam accounts for most Schiphol journeys in the Netherlands — and if you live in Zuid or Nieuw-West, you are there in 15 to 20 minutes via the A10 and A4. From the centre, the Jordaan or De Pijp, expect 20 to 30 minutes; from Noord or IJburg, 25 to 40, because you first have to cross the ring road.
That is why Schipholride works with three fixed price zones in Amsterdam rather than a single city rate: from €50 for a Comfort car from Zuid, Nieuw-West and the centre, and €55 from Noord and IJburg. Whichever zone applies, the price you see when booking is the price you pay.
Premium and the Van rise by a few euros per zone, and a VIP S-Class is €100 throughout.
The driver chooses the route based on live traffic: the standard way runs via the A10-Zuid and the A4, and via the S-roads or the A9 when there are queues. The morning rush (07:00-09:30) is heaviest on the A10-West and around the Zuidas; outside those hours you reach the airport from most districts in around half an hour.
The pickup time is planned around the current traffic situation, so even during roadworks on the ring road you arrive at Schiphol without stress — and the fixed zone price does not change because of it.
Pick-up in Amsterdam
The driver collects you from any address: home, hotel or office. On the Zuidas and at the stations (Centraal, Zuid, Sloterdijk, Amstel, Bijlmer ArenA), the driver confirms an exact boarding spot by text message — useful where there are loading windows and taxi ranks.
A concert or conference? Around events at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Ziggo Dome and RAI, extra time is built in because of closures and crowds.

Yes. There are sometimes closures around events; the driver confirms the exact boarding spot with you and extra time is built in. The fixed price does not change because of this.

The driver tracks your flight live; the pickup time shifts automatically and you have 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing — even in the middle of the night.
Where does the taxi drop me off at Schiphol?+
Your driver drops you off at the departure hall, as close to your check-in as possible. Schiphol's parking and pick-up fees are already included in your fixed price.
How much do I pay per person?+
Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.
