Your ride from Velserbroek
Velserbroek is a young residential core in the Velsen municipality, built up from the polder since the 1980s between Haarlem, Santpoort and Spaarnwoude. Broad streets, plenty of water and the shopping centre on the Vestingplein as its middle point — and the airport close by: 28 kilometres, about 30 minutes' drive outside rush hour.
The price is fixed in advance: €55 in Comfort, €70 in Premium, €75 for the Van (5-8 people) and €125 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are built into that, and surcharges for night or public holiday don't exist.
You can reserve up to at least 1 hour before the pick-up time, paying directly online, and the ride is then completely arranged.
The motorway lies practically beside the neighbourhood. Via the Velserbroekse Dreef and the Hofgeesterweg your driver turns onto the A9, then heads south towards the Rottepolderplein near Haarlem. There the route stays on the A9, which runs past Heemstede and the edge of the Haarlemmermeer to the Badhoevedorp interchange; the final kilometres on the A4 bring you to the Schiphol exit.
Outside rush hour those 28 kilometres take about 30 minutes. The Rottepolderplein is the pinch point: traffic from Haarlem and the N200 merges there, so the journey rises towards 44 minutes in the morning peak, especially combined with congestion around Badhoevedorp.
If the A9 is jammed solid, the N205 past Hoofddorp is a usable diversion. Your pick-up time is matched to the expected congestion so you reach the check-in desk in good time.
Pick-up in Velserbroek
You can board anywhere in Velserbroek: in Hofgeest on the north side, in the Westbroekbuurt, the Bastionbuurt, the Tjotterbuurt and around the Florarondebuurt. Businesses on the Broekerwerf and addresses towards the Spaarnwoude recreation area belong to the zone too.
Velserbroek has no station of its own; by public transport you change in Santpoort or Haarlem, which means hauling cases. A car at the door spares that change entirely. Give street and house number when booking and your driver pulls up right there.
Areas served: Hofgeest · Westbroekbuurt · Bastionbuurt · Tjotterbuurt · Florarondebuurt
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Velserbroek
On return you find your driver at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza. The flight is tracked, so a delay or an early landing shifts the pick-up moment automatically; after landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time.
The way back over the A9 takes about 30 minutes outside rush hour, a little longer in the evening peak.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does a ride Velserbroek to Schiphol cost?+
You pay €55 for Comfort, €70 for Premium, €75 for the Van seating five to eight and €125 for VIP. These are fixed total amounts including VAT, luggage and parking at the airport, with no surcharge for night rides.
How early do I need to be ready?+
Add the two hours Schiphol advises for check-in and security to the roughly 30 minutes' driving time. For a departure at 07:00 that means a pick-up around 04:15, and setting off that early costs nothing extra.
Can the driver pick someone else up in Haarlem on the way?+
An intermediate stop is possible, but it costs extra. Give the second address when booking; the stop is then taken into the route and the fixed total price so you know exactly what the whole ride will cost beforehand.
How long will the driver wait if my flight is delayed?+
The flight status is tracked, so your pick-up moment shifts automatically to the actual landing time. From then, 60 minutes of free waiting time runs, ample to clear customs and reach the baggage belt.
Can I book a business ride from the Broekerwerf estate?+
Certainly, rides from businesses in Velserbroek are common. State the company address and any invoicing details when booking; thanks to the fixed price the travel cost is clear in advance for your records, with no surprises afterwards.
Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+
For a longer trip it often is: you pay one fixed fare instead of parking fees per day, and you don't have to haul your cases from P3 to the terminal. Compare your own route with the price calculator.
How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
