Reaching the ring from Duivendrecht takes no time at all: the driver joins the A10-southeast or the A2 and follows the southern ring westwards to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange, where the A4 leads on to the Schiphol exit.

Including 15 minutes of slack, the driver pulls up at 04:15, by the old core around the Rijksstraatweg or at the flats on the Zuidoost side.

In the daytime the downside is the A10 South around the Zuidas, which often fills up in the rush hour. For an intercontinental flight at 19:00 you need to be there at 16:00, three hours ahead, and the planning then keeps to around 39 minutes plus a 15-minute margin.
