What does it cost to have someone picked up from Schiphol?
You pay a fixed price per route, shown before you book.
For addresses close to the airport the price starts at €35 (Comfort, 1 to 4 passengers). Further away it rises with the distance. Picking someone up and dropping them off cost the same, and there are no parking fees: nobody has to drive to Schiphol.

How long does it take?
For these examples the ride outside rush hour takes from ±19 minutes (Amstelveen) to ±89 minutes (Arnhem); in rush hour it takes longer. Add the time your guest needs for passport control and the baggage belt.

How long can you stop at the Schiphol departure hall?
Only briefly. The Kiss & Ride lane in front of Departure Halls 1, 2 and 3 is meant for dropping someone off or picking them up and driving on straight away; whoever stops there stays behind the wheel. A short stop is free; staying longer incurs a fee per time slot. Schiphol adjusts the exact free time periodically: check schiphol.nl. Waiting or parking is not allowed there and can result in a fine.

How long can you stay in short-term parking at Schiphol?
Longer than at the Kiss & Ride, but the clock runs as long as the car is there. Short-term parking (P1 Pick-up & Drop-off) is a car park next to Schiphol Plaza, not a stopping lane: you park the car and walk to the arrivals hall in 2 to 6 minutes, without staying with the car. You pay per time unit, even if the flight lands later. Free waiting is possible in the remote waiting zone. Rates and any maximum parking time are on schiphol.nl.

Where does the driver wait when picking me or my guest up?
At the pickup point we send you by email in advance. Once you have landed, the driver will contact you, so you find each other quickly. Would you rather have the driver wait inside the arrivals hall with a name sign? What happens if the flight is delayed?
The flight is tracked live. If it is delayed, the pickup time moves automatically. The first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are free. If it takes longer, contact the driver; extra waiting time may be charged.
What if I don't have a flight number?
Then we schedule the pickup at the time you specify. With a flight number, however, we can track the arrival live and adjust automatically on delays. We recommend that.
Your guest & your party
Can I have someone else picked up (without coming along)?
Yes. When you book, enter your guest's name and, if possible, a phone number. You receive the pickup point by email in advance, so you can pass it on to your guest. After landing the driver will get in touch, and your guest is then taken to the address you gave.
How many people and bags fit?
Comfort takes 1 to 4 passengers and 3 large suitcases, a Van 5 to 8 passengers and 7 large suitcases. With 9 or more people you need two vehicles; arrange that by phone on +31 85 060 2543. When you book, choose the vehicle that fits the number of passengers and bags. More large suitcases than fit in the car? You can still book. We will contact you to find a solution together.
Can I also have someone taken to Schiphol (pickup and drop-off)?
Yes. You book a ride to Schiphol just as easily as a pickup, and the price is the same in both directions: picking up and dropping off at Schiphol cost the same fixed amount, which you see in advance. Book both rides separately online, and the driver is ready at both times.
Driving & parking yourself
What is Kiss & Ride at Schiphol and can I wait there?
Kiss & Ride is meant for dropping someone off quickly; longer parking is not allowed there. Schiphol recommends P1 Pick-up & Drop-off for picking someone up or staying longer. With a pre-booked taxi you don't have to go to the airport yourself. The driver agrees a pickup point with the traveller. The first 60 minutes of waiting after landing are free.
What does P1 at Schiphol cost if you pick someone up yourself?
P1 Pick-up & Drop-off charges per time unit: the longer you stay, the more you pay, even if the flight is delayed. Schiphol adjusts the rates periodically; the current amount is on schiphol.nl. A short stop at the Kiss & Ride is free, but you cannot wait there. A taxi pickup has a fixed price up front, from €35 (Comfort) for addresses close to the airport, with 60 minutes of free waiting after landing.
How much waiting time is free after my flight lands?
With SchipholRide the first 60 minutes of waiting are free. Those minutes start after landing, even if you land later and the pickup time moves along. Waiting time after that may be charged separately.
