Your ride from Haarlem
From Haarlem, the Schipholweg (N205) and the A9 give you an almost straight run to Schiphol: 19 kilometres, around 20 minutes outside the rush hour, rising to roughly 35 minutes when traffic builds. For that journey Schipholride charges a fixed all-in price from €50, with VAT, luggage and the parking costs at Schiphol already included; there is no night surcharge.
You choose your own segment: Comfort (€50, VW Passat or similar), Premium (€55, Mercedes E-Class or similar), Van for 5-8 people (€55, V-Class or similar) or VIP (€100, S-Class or similar). Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure.
If you are being collected at Schiphol, your flight is tracked live and you get 60 minutes of free waiting time after landing.
The standard route follows the Schipholweg (N205), which leaves the city near Haarlem-Oost and Schalkwijk towards the Rottepolderplein interchange. There the driver switches to the A9 heading for Amstelveen, then takes the A4 at the Badhoevedorp interchange to reach the Schiphol exit.
Outside the rush hour you cover this stretch in around 20 minutes. The weak spot is on the Haarlem side: the Schipholweg and the connection to the Rottepolderplein clog up during the morning rush (roughly 7:00-9:00), and in the evening rush that applies above all to traffic heading into the city.
At those times the journey can stretch to around 35 minutes. If the A9 is gridlocked there is an alternative: stay on the N205 into the Haarlemmermeer past Vijfhuizen and Hoofddorp, then take the N201 to Schiphol.
The driver picks the fastest option on the day.
Pick-up in Haarlem
You can be collected anywhere in Haarlem: from Haarlem-Noord and Kleverpark to Schalkwijk and Haarlem-Oost, both of which sit right beside the Schipholweg and therefore reach the motorway quickest. If you live in the Centrum, bear in mind that many streets around the Grote Markt are narrow or one-way — give your exact address when you book, so the driver waits somewhere where getting in and out actually works.
Pick-up at Haarlem station, Haarlem Spaarnwoude station or a company in the Waarderpolder is perfectly possible too; just mention the entrance or the company name on the sign.
Areas served: Centrum · Haarlem-Noord · Haarlem-Oost · Schalkwijk · Zuidwest · Kleverpark — stations: Haarlem, Haarlem Spaarnwoude
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Haarlem
On the way back to Haarlem you travel via the A4 and A9 to the N205, which brings you straight into the city — again around 20 minutes outside the rush hour. If you land late in the evening or after midnight, you pay exactly the same fixed price to Haarlem: there is no night surcharge.
Your flight is tracked live, so if it is delayed the driver is still ready at the right moment.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What time should I leave Haarlem for an 08:00 flight?+
For an 08:00 departure you want to be walking through the departure hall around 06:00; allowing a good two hours for check-in and security is the usual advice. That early there is no rush hour and the journey from Haarlem takes around 20 minutes, so a pick-up time around 05:35 leaves plenty of margin. The driver is at your door at the agreed moment — there is no surcharge for the early hour.
Which roads do you take from Haarlem to the airport?+
Usually via the Schipholweg (N205) to the Rottepolderplein interchange, then the A9 and the A4 at Badhoevedorp towards the airport. If the A9 is gridlocked, the driver can stay on the N205 through the Haarlemmermeer and reach Schiphol via the N201. Outside the rush hour you are there in around 20 minutes; in the rush hour it can stretch to around 35 minutes.
Isn't the train from Haarlem an easier option?+
There is no direct train between Haarlem and Schiphol; you change at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. R-net bus 300 does run directly from Haarlem station in just over half an hour. With a lot of luggage, a group, or a flight at an early or late hour, a door-to-door taxi is often the more practical choice — you weigh up what suits you best.
Can I also be collected in Schalkwijk, Haarlem-Noord or the Waarderpolder?+
Yes, the fixed price applies to any address within Haarlem — from Meerwijk in Schalkwijk to the northern residential areas and the offices on the Waarderpolder business park. From Schalkwijk and Haarlem-Oost you actually leave the city quickest via the Schipholweg. Give your full address or the company name when you book, so the driver knows exactly where to be.
Six of us are travelling from Haarlem to Schiphol — what does that cost?+
For 5 to 8 people you book the Van at €55: a Mercedes V-Class or similar, with room for the whole group and the luggage. You pay one amount for the complete vehicle — not per person — with VAT, luggage and parking at Schiphol already included. Even in the middle of the night that amount stays the same.
How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
