Krommenie is a Zaan core of some seventeen thousand residents, known for the linoleum factory that has run there since the late nineteenth century and for the Provincialeweg that cuts straight through the village.
Administratively it belongs to the Zaanstad municipality. To Schiphol it's 35 kilometres and outside rush hour you drive that in about 36 minutes. The price is fixed at booking: €65 in Comfort, €80 in Premium, €85 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €150 for VIP.
Every rate includes VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol, and there's no night or public-holiday surcharge. You pay online straight away, at least 1 hour before departure. On the return your driver tracks the flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time applies after landing.
Krommenie lies on the N203, and that's exactly where the A8 begins: the motorway ends at Krommenie and Assendelft, because the extension to the A9 was never built. Your driver therefore turns from the Provincialeweg onto the A8 and rides past Westzaan and Zaandam to the Coenplein.
From there it goes through the Coentunnel, over the A10-West past Sloterdijk to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange, and via the A4 to the Schiphol exit. Thirty-five kilometres together, about 36 minutes outside rush hour.
The first kilometres are immediately the hardest: the junctions on the N203 through Krommenie are known for their morning congestion, and then the Coentunnel is added. In the peak reckon on a journey towards 52 minutes.
If that corridor is completely blocked, there's a real alternative: north over the N203 to Uitgeest, onto the A9 there and via the Wijkertunnel and Haarlem to the airport.
Pick-up in Krommenie
Pick-up happens throughout Krommenie: the centre around the Rosariumplein, the Willis and Zuiderham quarters, the streets on the east side towards the Zaan and the ribbon of Krommeniedijk in the polder. Krommenie-Assendelft station lies on the line to Amsterdam, but towards Schiphol you have to change; with luggage or for a flight around six in the morning, door-to-door clearly saves time.
If you'd rather board at the station, you simply give that as the pick-up address. Otherwise state your house number and the car is at the door.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Krommenie
From Schiphol it runs exactly in reverse: boarding at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza, then over the A4 and the A8 back to the Zaanstreek, about 36 minutes outside rush hour. Because your flight is tracked, the car is there even if you land an hour later, and after that you still have 60 minutes of free waiting time.
So there's nothing to call or reschedule before you've cleared customs.

What's the price of a taxi Krommenie to Schiphol?+
Comfort €65, Premium €80, the Van for five to eight people €85 and VIP €150. Each amount is the total price including VAT, cases and the parking at Schiphol, even for a ride in the middle of the night.
Isn't the train from Krommenie-Assendelft station a better option?+
From that station you ride towards Amsterdam or Uitgeest, so to Schiphol at least one change is involved. With luggage, in the dark or with a family, one car from door to door is usually calmer.
How does payment work?+
You settle directly online at booking, at least 1 hour before departure. That fixes the total amount and means nothing more to pay by card or cash with the driver.
Can the driver pick someone up in Zaandam on the way?+
An intermediate stop can be done, but it costs extra because the route gets longer. Give the address at booking, so you see the complete amount including that stop beforehand and the price stays unchanged afterwards.
How long does the driver keep waiting at Schiphol?+
Up to 60 minutes after the actual landing time, free. That time only starts running when your aircraft is really on the ground, so a delay or a slow baggage belt needn't make you rush.
