Your ride from Wormer
Wormer lies on the east bank of the Zaan, in the Wormerland municipality, with the peat-meadow area of the Wormer- en Jisperveld right behind the last row of houses. Whoever lives here looks out onto ditches, reed edges and meadows, and yet sits at the airport within half an hour.
Schipholride handles that ride for an amount fixed in advance: Comfort €65, Premium €80, the Van with five to eight seats €85 and VIP €145. By road it's 34 kilometres, about 36 minutes' drive outside rush hour.
VAT, cases and the parking money at the airport fall within that amount; a surcharge for the night or a public holiday Schipholride doesn't know. Reservation is possible up to at least 1 hour before departure, after which you settle online straight away and the price no longer changes.
The village hangs off the N515, the road that runs from Neck and Purmerend past Wormer to the Kalverpolder and Zaandam-Oost. Your driver follows that connection south, turns onto the A8 at Zaandam and drives westbound to the Coenplein.
There it goes through the Coentunnel onto the western ring, and after the De Nieuwe Meer interchange the A4 points the last kilometres to the terminal. On the counter there's then 34 kilometres; without a jam you're busy with it for some 36 minutes.
The bottleneck is predictable: around the tunnel mouth the morning traffic towards Amsterdam stacks up, after which the ring at Bos en Lommer moves along too and the travel time rises to a minute or 53. If the tunnel is closed after an incident, there's an alternative over the Zaanbrug and the N246, or wider around via the A9 past Beverwijk and Haarlem.
When setting your pick-up time that congestion is reckoned with.
Pick-up in Wormer
You're picked up throughout Wormerland: in the village around the Dorpsstraat and the Plaszoom, on the Oosteinde where the cacao factories dominate the Zaan bank, and in the ribbons of Jisp, Wijdewormer, Neck and Oostknollendam.
The village has no station of its own; for the train you first cross the Zaanbrug. With luggage, young children or a departure before sunrise, that rarely outweighs boarding at the door. Mention your full address in the booking, even for a home on the polder side or on a little dyke, and the pick-up spot is right straight away.
Areas served: Wormer-dorp · Plaszoom · Oosteinde · Jisp · Wijdewormer · Oostknollendam
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Wormer
When you come back, your driver waits for you at the meeting point at Schiphol Plaza. He watches the flight details, so a delay over the sea simply means a later pick-up moment, without calling. The first hour after landing waiting costs nothing, ample for passport control and the baggage belt.
Then you're back among the meadows before your case is unpacked.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does a taxi Wormer to Schiphol cost?+
The rate is fixed in advance: €65 for Comfort, €80 for Premium, €85 for the Van with five to eight seats and €145 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at the airport belong to that amount, so topping up afterwards isn't needed.
Do eight people with cases fit in one car?+
That fits: the Van has room for five to eight passengers plus their luggage, a Mercedes V-Class or comparable model. From Wormer it comes to €85 in total, which for a party usually saves compared to two separate cars.
May someone ride along in Jisp or Zaandam on the way?+
An intermediate stop along the way is possible, but not free: the extra address and the extra driving time are added to the rate. Give the stop at booking, so you see the complete amount before you confirm and your driver's planning is right straight away.
How does payment work?+
You settle online at the moment you reserve, so before the ride takes place. The amount is then final; no meter is involved and the driver needn't settle anything more with you along the way.
How long is the wait for me at Schiphol?+
From the moment your aircraft touches the ground, sixty minutes of free waiting time applies. If the baggage belt takes longer or you're stuck at customs, your driver simply stays available within that hour in the arrivals hall.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+
Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
