From Uithoorn the N201 and the Waterwolf tunnel put Schiphol surprisingly close: the 15 kilometres take around 25 minutes outside the rush hour, and Schipholride covers that journey for a fixed all-in price from €50 (Comfort, VW Passat or similar).

Uithoorn has no railway station of its own, so public transport always means changing somewhere; a door-to-door taxi is the direct alternative here, especially with cases in tow or a flight before six in the morning.

From Uithoorn your driver almost always takes the rerouted N201, which since 2014 has run to the north of the village rather than through it. From the Uithoorn junction the route heads west, through the Waterwolf tunnel under the Ringvaart of the Haarlemmermeer, then past Schiphol-Rijk to the A4 and the airport itself.
The old way straight through the centre — the Koningin Máximalaan — is now a local road closed to through traffic, so it is left well alone. Outside the rush hour the trip is around 25 minutes; during the morning rush (roughly 7:00-9:00) and the evening rush (16:30-18:30) it can stretch to about 35 minutes, mainly on the stretch of N201 near Aalsmeer and at the connection onto the A4.
For pick-ups in De Kwakel the driver can join the N201 directly from the village, which saves a few minutes. Your flight is tracked live, so the pick-up time still holds if your departure or arrival shifts.
Pick-up in Uithoorn
A driver is just as happy waiting in the old village centre beside the Amstel as in Zijdelwaard, Thamerdal, De Legmeer or Meerwijk — you simply give your home address when you book. De Kwakel, with its ribbons of houses along the polder dykes, falls fully within the pick-up area too.
Uithoorn has no NS station; if you currently take the bus or the tram towards Amstelveen and change there, a ride from your own front door easily saves an hour of travel time once the connections are added up.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Uithoorn
When you land at Schiphol, the return run to Uithoorn takes around 25 minutes outside the rush hour — often you are home before travellers still waiting for a connection in Amstelveen. After landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time, so even with hold luggage and a queue at passport control your driver is still there.
And if you arrive late in the evening or after midnight, the fixed price to Uithoorn stays exactly the same: there is no night surcharge.

What time will I be collected in Uithoorn for a flight before 09:00?+
Allow around 25 minutes of driving plus a good two hours for check-in, so a pick-up roughly 2 hours and 45 minutes before departure works well. For a 07:00 flight the driver is at your door around 04:15. There is no night surcharge here either — that early run goes at the same fixed price.
Is there a direct train from Uithoorn to Schiphol?+
No — Uithoorn has no railway station, so by public transport you always change at least once, for example via Amstelveen or Amsterdam Zuid. That makes a taxi relatively attractive here: from your front door in Meerwijk or De Kwakel to the departure hall, without dragging cases through a connection.
How much longer does the trip from Uithoorn take in the rush hour?+

Book the Van (Mercedes V-Class or similar): it carries 5 to 8 people with their luggage for a fixed price of €50 for the whole vehicle. Per person that works out cheaper than separate public transport with a change, and you all leave together from one address.

What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+
Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
