Your ride from Wormerveer
Wormerveer belongs to Zaanstad and stretches along the west bank of the Zaan, recognisable by the row of monumental warehouses and factory buildings on the Zaanweg. It's a railway town through and through: the Zaanlijn runs straight through it, with Wormerveer station close to the shopping area.
To the airport it's 35 kilometres, about 35 minutes outside the peak hours. The amount is fixed in advance — €65 for Comfort, €80 for Premium, €85 for the Van (5-8 people) and €150 for VIP — including VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol.
Night rides and public holidays yield no surcharge whatsoever. Booking happens at the latest 1 hour in advance, with direct payment at reservation, so the rate stays unchanged until you get in.
The ride starts on the Provincialeweg, the N246 that runs right past the place southbound towards Zaandijk and the Zaanse Schans. At Koog aan de Zaan your driver turns onto the A8, one of the shortest motorways in the country, which comes out on the Coenplein after just a few kilometres.
From there the traffic dives into the tunnel below the North Sea Canal, follows the western ring of the capital and bends at De Nieuwe Meer towards the A4, where the airport is already on the signs. That brings you to 35 kilometres and about 35 minutes outside rush hour.
Delay almost always arises before the canal and on the ring at Bos en Lommer; in the morning peak the travel time thereby shifts towards 50 minutes. Whoever leaves in the middle of the night notices none of it.
In the event of a tunnel closure the driver detours more northerly via the A9 and the Wijkertunnel to Haarlem and so to Badhoevedorp.
Pick-up in Wormerveer
The pick-up area runs from Wormerveer-Noord and the Noorderveld business estate to the residential streets on the south side towards Zaandijk, and further to Krommenie and West-Knollendam. Wormerveer station is within walking distance for many addresses, but the train journey to the airport asks for a change on the way, and hauling two cases plus hand baggage is not everyone's idea of a holiday.
A car at the door takes that change out. Businesses on Noorderveld regularly have business visitors picked up from reception; then enter the company address in the booking.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Wormerveer

What do I pay for a taxi Wormerveer to Schiphol?+

Isn't the train from Wormerveer station a smarter idea?+
For whoever travels light certainly an option, only there's no direct connection: you change on the way before you're at the airport. Early in the morning, with lots of luggage or with a family along, a ride from door to departure hall usually wins on comfort.
What time does the car pull up for a flight at 06:30?+
Take the driving time of about 35 minutes outside rush hour and add the two hours Schiphol advises for check-in and security. You then come out at a pick-up around a quarter to four; at that time the road is empty and exactly the same rate applies as during the day.
My flight is scrapped — what now?+
Report it at least four hours before the agreed pick-up time. The ride is then moved free of charge to another moment, or half the amount paid comes back. A report shorter than four hours ahead can no longer be handled without cost.
Can there be a child seat in the car?+
A child or car seat is available on request; note the age and the number of children at booking. That way the driver knows which type of seat to bring and you lose no time getting in.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+
Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
