Short but not always fast. From the Dorpsstraat ribbon or the Zuideinde the car drives south over the N235, past Het Schouw, and picks up the connection to the A10 Noord there. Via the Coenplein and the Coentunnel the route comes onto the western ring, after which the De Nieuwe Meer interchange gives the A4 and the exit to the terminal.
At a quiet moment there's about 28 minutes for these 26 kilometres. The delay almost always sits at the tunnels: the Coentunnel and the ring around Amsterdam-West fill in the morning and evening peak, so the journey can rise to around 42 minutes.
Depending on the time, the driver therefore chooses between the Coentunnel, a route through the city via the IJtunnel or a loop around Amsterdam. For a night flight the route is almost empty and you make the shortest variant without trouble.
Pick-up in Landsmeer
Pick-up is possible in the village itself — along the Dorpsstraat, the Noordeinde and the Zuideinde, and in the newer streets behind them — and just as readily in Den Ilp, Purmerland and Watergang. Landsmeer has no station; by public transport you first take the bus to Amsterdam Noord and then metro plus train.
