A night surcharge doesn't exist, so a departure by the Wüstelaan deep in the night costs exactly as much as a ride in the middle of the day.
A ride from Zuid-Kennemerland you fix at least 1 hour ahead and pay online, so everything is confirmed before the driver sets off.
From Santpoort-Zuid your driver rides via the Wüstelaan and the Bloemendaalsestraatweg to the N208, and then to the connection with the A9 at Velsen or Beverwijk. From the A9 it goes south past Haarlem-Zuid and Hoofddorp to the Badhoevedorp interchange, where the A4 gives the Schiphol exit.
With congestion on the A9 the driver can go inland via the N205 past the Haarlemmermeer. The sensitive point is around the Velsertunnel and the connections at Beverwijk: those regularly jam in the morning and evening peak, and then the ride can rise towards three quarters of an hour.
Outside rush hour it stays a short ride with those 24 kilometres. If the A9 is at a complete standstill, the route via Haarlem and the N205 offers a way out.
