And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Assendelft is the amount on your receipt.

* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.
Your ride from Assendelft
Assendelft is a ribbon village in the Zaanstreek with a Dorpsstraat that runs on for kilometres, complemented by the Vinex district of Saendelft and the newer Kreekrijk quarter. Open polder on one side, the river Zaan and Amsterdam within reach on the other.
Schiphol lies 32 kilometres away and is manageable in about 34 minutes outside rush hour. For that ride there is one fixed total price: €60 in Comfort, €75 in Premium, €80 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €140 for VIP.
That includes VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol; night or public-holiday surcharges are not charged and luggage never costs extra. You book at least 1 hour before departure and pay directly online, so nothing needs arranging with the driver.
From the Dorpsstraat or Saendelft your driver takes the Communicatieweg and the provincial N203 to the A8 near Zaandam. That short motorway connects to the A10-Noord, after which the Coentunnel carries you under the North Sea Canal.
Over the A10-West it runs past Sloterdijk to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange, and there the route bends onto the A4 towards the Schiphol exit. Outside rush hour those 32 kilometres take about 34 minutes. The Coentunnel is the familiar bottleneck: in the morning peak traffic from the A8 regularly backs up there and the journey rises towards 49 minutes.
Things can also get sticky on the A10-West at Sloterdijk. If the tunnel is closed or fully clogged, the western variant remains: via the N246 and the Velsertunnel to the A9 and back onto the A4 at Badhoevedorp.
Pick-up in Assendelft
Pick-up happens along the whole length of the village: in Saendelft, in Kreekrijk, on the Dorpsstraat and the Noordeinde, and in Assendelft-Zuid towards Westzaan. Krommenie-Assendelft station is within walking distance of Saendelft, with four trains an hour to Amsterdam, but towards the airport you have to change on the way.
Whoever departs with luggage or in company would rather board at their own door. Put your address in full in the booking and the car will be ready at the agreed time — even in the middle of the night.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Assendelft
On the way back you meet your driver at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza. He follows your flight number and adjusts the pick-up moment when the aircraft arrives later; after landing, 60 minutes of free waiting time runs.
Via the Coentunnel you're back in Assendelft in about 34 minutes outside rush hour. There's no need to settle up — that was done at booking.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does a taxi Assendelft to Schiphol cost?+
The fixed total price is €60 in Comfort, €75 in Premium, €80 for the Van seating five to eight and €140 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are already in it, so nothing is added afterwards.
Isn't the train from Krommenie-Assendelft a good alternative?+
Towards Amsterdam the train is fine, but for the airport you change on the way, for example at Sloterdijk. With two cases, a pushchair or a flight before seven in the morning, a direct ride from your door is usually more practical.
We're going on holiday with seven people, how do we arrange that?+
Then book the Van, a Mercedes V-Class or similar for five to eight passengers including luggage. From Assendelft that's €80 as a fixed total, so the group travels together and you spend less than on two separate cars.
Do I still pay the driver when he pulls up?+
No, the ride is already settled online at booking, at least 1 hour before the pick-up time. The driver receives no money and nothing is invoiced afterwards; the amount you saw at booking is the amount you pay.
What if my flight is cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before the planned pick-up time. The ride is then rebooked without cost to a new date, or you get 50% of the amount paid back to your account.
Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+
For a longer trip it often is: you pay one fixed fare instead of parking fees per day, and you don't have to haul your cases from P3 to the terminal. Compare your own route with the price calculator.
How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
