Drop-off
Right in front of Departure Halls 1, 2 and 3 you can stop briefly to drop someone off with their luggage. It is meant for getting out and driving straight on, not for waiting. Whoever stops there should stay behind the wheel.
Pickup
The car park next to Schiphol Plaza, about a 2 to 6 minute walk from the arrivals halls. Handy if you are collecting someone who is still dealing with baggage or customs: you park the car and walk inside.
Waiting
Away from the terminal there is a free zone where you can wait in the car until your passenger is ready to be collected. As soon as they call you, drive to the Kiss & Ride to pick them up.
Have your guest collected or get a ride to the airport yourself, at a fixed price. For pickups, the flight is tracked. No Kiss & Ride, no parking charges, no searching.

Dropping someone off with a suitcase in front of the departure hall takes a few minutes. Stop in the Kiss & Ride lane in front of Departure Hall 1, 2 or 3, help with the luggage and drive on. Stay with the car. Stopping anywhere else will get you a fine.
Picking someone up often takes a little longer: baggage reclaim, passport control, a cup of coffee. Park in P1 Pick-up & Drop-off, walk to the arrivals hall and agree on a set meeting point, for example at one of the cafés in Schiphol Plaza.
Flight landing later than planned? In the free waiting zone you can wait in the car without the clock running. That way you avoid driving round in circles or paying for parking you don't need.
Can't get away yourself, or don't fancy driving to the airport and dealing with the Kiss & Ride and parking? Then book a taxi to meet your guest at the agreed pickup point (you receive that pickup point by email in advance, and after landing the driver will get in touch), or one to collect you from home and drop you off in front of the departure hall. For pickups, the flight is tracked live. The price is fixed upfront and there are no parking or drop-off charges.
