Your ride from Bentveld
Bentveld is a small, wooded hamlet between Zandvoort and Aerdenhout that belongs administratively to the Zandvoort municipality. Villas stand hidden behind dune planting along the Zandvoortselaan and the Bentveldsweg, with the Kennemer Golf & Country Club around the corner.
To the departure hall it's only 24 kilometres and about 30 minutes at a quiet hour, which makes this one of the best-situated spots on the coastal side. The rate is fixed in advance at €45 for Comfort, €55 for Premium, €60 for the Van with five to eight seats and €115 for VIP, each time including VAT, luggage and the parking at the airport.
Night rides and public holidays carry no surcharge; you book at least 1 hour ahead and settle directly.
The Zandvoortselaan is the only real exit road and brings you from Bentveld eastbound through the dune edge to Heemstede. There the options split. Via the Cruquiusweg and the N201 past Cruquius and Hoofddorp you drive almost directly to the airport, a route that runs smoothly outside rush hour.
The other way goes over Haarlem-Zuid onto the A9, past the Rottepolderplein and the Badhoevedorp interchange to the A4. Both count about 24 kilometres and cost some 30 minutes at a calm moment. Bottlenecks are the bridge at Cruquius and the flow around Heemstede, plus in summer the beach traffic on the Zandvoortselaan; the ride then rises to about 45 minutes.
During a race weekend at the circuit road closures apply and the pick-up time is chosen more generously.
Pick-up in Bentveld
Pick-up happens on the avenues of Bentveld itself — around the Bentveldsweg, the Duinlustweg and the side streets of the Zandvoortselaan — and in the adjacent streets of Aerdenhout, Zandvoort-Noord and Bloemendaal.
Many drives lie behind a hedge or gate; a brief note at booking about where the entrance is spares searching in the dark. Heemstede-Aerdenhout station is within cycling distance on the line towards the airport, but with cases, children or a flight in the early morning, driving directly stays the most relaxed.

What does the ride Bentveld to Schiphol cost?+

Does Bentveld have a station of its own?+
No, the nearest halt is Heemstede-Aerdenhout, just over the border with Heemstede. It's on the line towards the airport, but with luggage or early in the morning a car drives you to the departure hall without a change.
Departure time for a flight at 06:00?+
With about 30 minutes' driving time and two hours for check-in and security you come out at a pick-up around a quarter past three. At that moment the Zandvoortselaan is deserted and you pay exactly the same as during the day.
Can I request a child seat?+
Child seats and boosters are available on request; give at booking how many children travel and their ages. The right seat is then already ready when the driver stops in front of the drive.
Does a race weekend affect my pick-up time?+
On race days the municipality closes roads and traffic around Zandvoort and Bentveld jams. Mention your flight on such a weekend at booking, so extra margin is planned and the driver takes an alternative route.
Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+

How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
