No queue at the taxi rank and no train with heavy suitcases: your driver is waiting at the agreed pickup point after landing.
The amount you see when booking is the total to your door, whether that is the canal ring, Zuid, De Pijp or a hotel near Leidseplein. To the city centre the Comfort fare is €50, the same zone price as for the ride from the centre to Schiphol.

From the airport to your door
From the airport the A4 brings you to Amsterdam-Zuid in about 20 minutes and to the city centre within half an hour; in the evening rush hour around the A10 ring it can take a little longer. For many travellers that beats public transport: no change at Amsterdam Centraal followed by a tram, but door to door to the Zuidas, Noord or an address near the RAI.
Travelling as a group? A Van for up to 8 passengers drives the same route for one fixed price per ride.

Which is cheaper from Schiphol, Uber or a fixed-price taxi?
That depends on the moment. Ride-hailing apps use dynamic pricing: when the airport is busy (holidays, evenings, rain) the fare rises, and it is only known when you request the car. A fixed price is set days ahead and cannot change.
For one traveller with hand luggage the difference is small; for a family with suitcases, a late landing or a hotel in the centre, the fixed total is usually the safer choice.

Is it easy to get a taxi at Amsterdam Airport?
Yes. Schiphol Plaza has an official rank where you step into a licensed taxi; there you pay the meter fare and may queue at busy times. If you want certainty, book your Schiphol taxi in advance: the driver is then already waiting at the agreed pickup point and the fare is fixed, even if your flight lands at night or at the last minute.
You skip the queue and know beforehand who is driving and what the ride costs.
