Price certainty on this route

Without a reservation, a street taxi may charge up to about 162 for this ride (±43 km, ±41 min) under the Dutch legal maximum meter rates for 2026. With us the price is fixed at 75 (Comfort) before you book — 53% below that legal maximum.*

And no surge pricing like ride-hailing apps: your fare doesn't rise with rain, rush hour or an early-morning flight — and traffic jams or detours don't change it either. The amount you see when booking from Vleuten is the amount on your receipt.

  • No night surcharge
  • No weekend or holiday surcharge
  • No rush-hour surcharge
  • No luggage fee
  • No booking or payment fees

Pay securely online, in advance: iDEAL · Visa · Mastercard · Amex · Apple Pay · Google Pay

Never settle up in the taxi — no cash, no card terminal stress. Business trip? An invoice with VAT is available too.

* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.

Your ride from Vleuten

Vleuten was an independent polder village west of Utrecht for centuries and merged into the city with the building of Leidsche Rijn, without losing its village core. On one side the narrow Dorpsstraat and the old church, on the other the broad avenues of Vleuterweide and the green edge of the Máximapark.

From Vleuten to the airport it's 43 kilometres, which takes about 41 minutes outside rush hour. The total price is fixed in advance: €75 in Comfort, €95 in Premium, €100 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €175 for VIP.

VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are included, and a night or public-holiday surcharge doesn't exist. Reservation is possible up to at least one hour before departure; you settle directly online at booking.

Vleuten has a short run-up to the motorway: via the Utrechtseweg and the De Wetering-Haarrijn business zone you reach the Maarssen/Vleuten junction on the A2. There your driver heads towards Amsterdam, past Breukelen, Vinkeveen and Abcoude to the Holendrecht interchange.

From that junction the A9 follows through the Gaasperdammertunnel towards Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange, after which the A4 reaches the Schiphol exit within a few minutes. Forty-three kilometres in all, about 41 minutes outside rush hour.

The morning peak touches this route in two places: the A2 between Maarssen and Vinkeveen fills with traffic towards Amsterdam, and on the A9 at Amstelveen the airport traffic adds to it. The journey can then rise towards 59 minutes.

Your driver checks the live picture before departure and, for a peak-hour flight, deliberately plans more generously.

Pick-up in Vleuten

You're picked up in the old core around the Dorpsstraat and the church square, in Vleuterweide with its shopping centre, in Haarzicht and on the park edge by the Máximapark. The neighbouring village of Haarzuilens by Kasteel de Haar and business addresses on De Wetering or Haarrijn belong to the pick-up area too.

Vleuten station lies on the sprinter line to Utrecht Centraal, but towards Schiphol you always change on the way and drag your cases along. Riding door to door easily spares an hour of hassle for an early flight.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Vleuten

When you come back, your driver waits at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza. The flight is tracked, so a delay or an early landing changes nothing about the arrangement: the pick-up moment shifts automatically and after landing 60 minutes of free waiting time applies.

Outside rush hour you're back at your door in Vleuten about 41 minutes later.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions

What does a taxi ride Vleuten to Schiphol cost?+

The fixed price is €75 in Comfort, €95 in Premium, €100 for the Van seating five to eight and €175 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol are in that amount; surcharges are never added.

Isn't the train from Vleuten station a better option?+

From Vleuten no direct train runs to the airport: you change on the way, usually at Utrecht Centraal. With cases, children or a departure time before seven, a taxi from your own address is usually calmer and faster.

Can I book on business and get an invoice?+

You can. State your company name and invoice address at booking, and you receive an invoice with a VAT breakdown. Handy for the entrepreneurs and commuters on De Wetering and Haarrijn who fly from Schiphol more often.

What if my flight is cancelled?+

Report it at least four hours before the agreed pick-up time, and the ride is rebooked free of charge to a new date or you get 50 percent of the amount back. Reporting later can no longer be handled without cost.

May the driver pick someone up in De Meern or Utrecht on the way?+

An intermediate stop is possible, but costs extra. Give the address already at booking, so the detour is built into the route and your fixed total price and you know beforehand exactly what the ride costs.

How much do I pay per person?+

Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.

Can I book a return trip in one go?+

Yes, you arrange your outbound and return ride in one booking with the return option in the booking flow. For the return your driver tracks your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time apply.

Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+

For a longer trip it often is: you pay one fixed fare instead of parking fees per day, and you don't have to haul your cases from P3 to the terminal. Compare your own route with the price calculator.
