You can book up to at least 1 hour before the pick-up time, with direct online payment. Should you land back at Schiphol later, your flight is tracked and the driver is ready the moment you actually arrive.
Baarn sits well relative to the A1: via the Amsterdamsestraatweg or the Drakenburgerweg you're on the slip road within a few minutes, close to the Eemnes interchange. From there it heads west on the A1 past Laren, Naarden and Muiden.
At Diemen your driver normally picks the A9, which runs via Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange onto the A4 with the Schiphol exit. The 53 kilometres take about 47 minutes outside rush hour. In the morning peak the stretch of A1 between Muiderberg and Diemen is the problem area; the journey can then rise towards 69 minutes.
If the A9 near Amstelveen turns out jammed too, carrying on over the A10-Zuid to the De Nieuwe Meer interchange is often faster. If you come from Lage Vuursche, the first leg via the Hilversumsestraatweg is a touch longer; the planning allows for that.
