Your ride from Eemnes
Eemnes is an elongated village between Het Gooi and the Eempolder, with the historic ribbons Wakkerendijk and Meentweg as its backbone and the new-build of the Zuidpolder on the other side. The interchange where the A1 and the A27 cross carries the village name for good reason.
You notice that in the travel time: 53 kilometres to the airport, about 50 minutes outside rush hour. The amount is fixed in advance at €95 for Comfort, €120 for Premium, €125 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €210 for VIP.
VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol are in it; surcharges for night rides or public holidays this rate doesn't know. Reserve at least 1 hour in advance and settle directly online.
From the Wakkerendijk or the Zuidpolder the motorway is reached in a few minutes: via the Meentweg and the N221 the car drives straight onto the Eemnes interchange. There the driver picks the A1 heading west, past Blaricum and Naarden to Muiden, where the road crosses the Vecht, and further via the Muiderberg interchange.
At the Diemen interchange it goes onto the A9, through the Gaasperdammertunnel, past Ouderkerk aan de Amstel and Amstelveen to the Badhoevedorp interchange; the A4 then brings you to the terminal in a few minutes.
Over 53 kilometres, driven calmly, that takes about 50 minutes. The notorious stretch is the A1 between Muiden and Diemen, where all the traffic towards Amsterdam squeezes together; in the morning peak the travel time can rise to 72 minutes.
If the A1 is really out, the A27 south to Utrecht with the A2 offers a diversion.
Pick-up in Eemnes
The whole village falls within the pick-up area: the farms and villas on Wakkerendijk and Meentweg, the streets of old Eemnes-Binnen, the quarters by Eemnes-Buiten and the newer Zuidpolder. Addresses towards Blaricum and along the Eemweg belong to it too.
Eemnes has no train station; travellers turn to Hilversum, Baarn or Naarden-Bussum, which with luggage soon means an extra ride. Boarding at your own door and only getting out at the airport spares that link. Give the address with house number at booking — on the long ribbons a wrong number soon means a few hundred metres.

What's the rate for Eemnes to Schiphol?+

Is there a direct train to the airport?+
Not from this village, as a station is lacking. You first travel to Hilversum, Baarn or Naarden-Bussum and change there, which with cases and an early departure rarely works out faster than driving straight through.
What if the A1 is jammed?+
Then the driver diverts, for example south over the A27 to Utrecht and on via the A2. The fixed price stays unchanged, so a detour through jams costs you nothing extra.
Can we come along with eight people in one car?+
