Soest lies wedged between the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the meadows of the Eempolder, with the Soesterduinen dunes on one side and the shopping ribbon of the Van Weedestraat as its beating heart. From here it's 56 kilometres to Schiphol, about 53 minutes' drive outside rush hour.

You book at least 1 hour ahead and settle directly online, so the amount is fixed before the driver pulls up.
From Soest the ride heads north: via the Birkstraat and the Amsterdamsestraatweg, or from Overhees along the Dalweg and the Ossendamweg, your driver reaches the A1 junction near Baarn. Then follows a long straight line westbound, over the Eemnes interchange past Naarden and Muiden and via the Muiderberg interchange towards Diemen, where the A9 is picked up.
Through the Gaasperdammertunnel and past Amstelveen it heads to the Badhoevedorp interchange, after which the A4 with the Schiphol exit is a matter of minutes. Outside rush hour those 56 kilometres take about 53 minutes.
The sensitive stretch is between Muiden and Diemen, where all the morning traffic towards Amsterdam converges; if it jams there, the journey can rise towards 76 minutes. If the A1 is fully blocked after an accident, the driver can divert south via the A28 and the A27 to the A2 and join the A9 at Holendrecht.
That peak congestion is factored in when planning your pick-up time.
Pick-up in Soest
You'll be picked up all over Soest: in Overhees and Smitsveen, in Klaarwater, around 't Hart and Soestdijk, and in Soest-Zuid by the Soesterduinen. Addresses in Soesterberg and on the industrial estate fall within the area too, including near the Nationaal Militair Museum.
Soest has three train halts — Soest, Soest Zuid and Soestdijk — but none takes you to the airport without changing. With cases, an early departure or a whole party, stepping in at your own front door is simply easier.

What's the price of a taxi Soest to Schiphol?+

What time should I leave for an 08:00 flight?+
Allow about 53 minutes' driving time outside rush hour plus the good two hours Schiphol advises for check-in and security. For an 08:00 flight that works out at a pick-up around 05:00; if that falls in the morning peak near Diemen, your driver builds in extra margin.
Can I take the train from Soest or Soest Zuid instead?+
You can, but never directly: from the Soest halts you change on the way, for example in Baarn, Amersfoort or Amsterdam. With luggage and an early departure that quickly costs more time and hassle than a single ride from the door to the departure hall.
We're departing with eight people, does that fit in one car?+
Yes, then choose the Van: a Mercedes V-Class or similar with room for five to eight passengers plus luggage. From Soest that costs €130 as a fixed total price, which works out cheaper for a group than booking two separate cars.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?+
Report a cancellation at least 4 hours before the planned pick-up time. The ride is then rebooked free of charge to another date or time, or you get 50% of the amount paid back. Reporting later can unfortunately no longer be handled without cost.
Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+

How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
