The way out runs via the N206 along the dunes to the A44, then north-east towards the airport, leaving at exit 3 or 4 by the terminal. From Katwijk aan Zee and Katwijk aan den Rijn you are on the N206 straight away; from Valkenburg the A44 is already close.
Off-peak the 35-kilometre stretch takes about 33 minutes. Hold-ups build on the A44 around Leiden and at the connection with the A4; in the morning crush the travel time can rise to about 48 minutes. If the A44 is packed, the route via the A4 at Leiderdorp offers the alternative.
Since Katwijk leans against the coast and the dune edge, the N206 is nearly always the first link. A rush-hour buffer sits in the planning, so you reach the check-in desk with time to spare.

What is the price of a ride to the airport from Katwijk?+

Katwijk has no station. How else would I travel?+
Without a station of its own you would ride the bus to Leiden Centraal and change onto the train there. A taxi takes you from the coast to the terminal in one movement, which with cases, an early flight or a family usually proves faster and calmer than the change at Leiden.
What time am I ready for a 07:00 flight?+
Flying at 07:00, being at the airport around five o'clock is a safe guideline. Take off some 33 minutes of driving and a little margin, and the pick-up in Katwijk falls around four o'clock. No night surcharge applies, so it stays the fixed €65 for Comfort.

What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+
Yes. At the vehicle step of the booking form, select a Maxi-Cosi (infant seat) or toddler seat: €15 per ride, charged once. Your driver will have the seat ready and installed.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
Yes, you pay online in advance with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The amount you see at booking is the full amount: there is nothing to pay in the car.
