* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.
Your ride from Sassenheim
Sassenheim is a bulb village with a trading past: export firms still line the Rijksstraatweg, and behind the village lie the fields that colour in April. Handy for travellers is its own connection to the A44, which puts Schiphol 24 kilometres away and about 25 minutes on the road outside rush hour.
The total price is fixed in advance: €45 in Comfort, €55 in Premium, €60 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €115 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking at Schiphol belong to that amount, and Schipholride charges no night surcharge.
Book at least 1 hour before the desired pick-up time and pay online straight away, and the ride is arranged before your case is even shut.
From the Hoofdstraat or the Van Pallandtlaan it's only a few minutes to the Sassenheim slip road of the A44. That motorway runs north from here past the bulb fields at Lisse and Hillegom to the Burgerveen interchange, where it joins the A4.
Then you pass Nieuw-Vennep and Hoofddorp and take the exit to the terminal — 24 kilometres together and about 25 minutes outside rush hour. The ride is that short because you barely cross any urban area. Delay almost always arises at two spots: the merge at Burgerveen and the last stretch of A4 towards Schiphol, where in the morning peak the journey can rise towards 37 minutes.
During works on the A44 your driver sometimes picks the N208 through the Bollenstreek to Hillegom and joins the A4 there. The live traffic picture just before departure decides which variant it is.
Pick-up in Sassenheim
Drivers pick up throughout Sassenheim: in Sassenheim-West, in the Postbuurt and the Vliegeniersbuurt around the centre, in Sassenheim-Zuid and in the new-build of Teylingerhof. Business addresses on the Jagtlust estate along the A44 and in the Roodemolenpolder are daily practice too.
Sassenheim station lies on the edge of the village on the Haarlem–Leiden line; towards Schiphol you change on the way. Whoever travels with cases, children or colleagues therefore often chooses pick-up at the front door or the company entrance, near landmarks like the Ruïne van Teylingen.
Areas served: Sassenheim-West · Sassenheim-Midden · Sassenheim-Zuid · Postbuurt · Vliegeniersbuurt · Teylingerhof — stations: Sassenheim
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Sassenheim
The meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza is your fixed meeting spot on return. Because your flight is tracked live, the pick-up moment fits even if you land later or earlier, and after landing 60 minutes of free waiting time applies.
Via the A4 and the A44 you're back in Sassenheim in about 25 minutes outside rush hour.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What's the price Sassenheim to Schiphol?+
You pay €45 for Comfort, €55 for Premium, €60 for the Van seating five to eight and €115 for VIP. Those amounts are complete: VAT, luggage and the parking charges at the terminal are in them and nothing is added afterwards.
We're flying to a wedding with eight people — does that fit in one car?+
Yes, that's what the Van is for: a Mercedes V-Class or similar with room for five to eight people including luggage, at €60 fixed from Sassenheim. That spares two separate cars and everyone departs at the same time from the same address.
Can I take a business ride from the Jagtlust estate?+
Certainly. Give the company address and any invoicing details when booking and the driver waits at the right entrance. For business rides many travellers choose Premium, an E-Class or similar, at the fixed price of €55.
How far ahead should I book?+
Reserve at least 1 hour before the desired pick-up moment; earlier is of course fine and sensible for an early-morning flight. You pay directly online, after which the fixed price and the pick-up time are confirmed.
My flight is cancelled — do I get money back?+
Report it at least 4 hours before the pick-up time, and the ride is rebooked free of charge to a new moment or you get 50% of the amount paid back. The sooner you tell us, the easier a new time is to plan.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+
Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
Yes, you pay online in advance with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The amount you see at booking is the full amount — there is nothing to pay in the car.
Where does the taxi drop me off at Schiphol?+
Your driver drops you off at the departure hall, as close to your check-in as possible. Schiphol's parking and pick-up fees are already included in your fixed price.
