Your route and departure time
The approach starts on the A32, the motorway running directly past Heerenveen, which carries you south to Zwolle. There the driver transfers to the A28, continuing west via Nunspeet, Harderwijk and Amersfoort; at the Hoevelaken interchange or via the A1 the route turns towards Amsterdam and finally takes the A4 to the terminal.
In quiet hours the clock reads around 116 minutes. Where it usually goes wrong is the A28 near Amersfoort and the Hoevelaken interchange: the rush hour can nudge the journey towards 151 minutes there. In extreme congestion the driver sometimes weighs up the A7 variant across the Afsluitdijk instead.

The A32 runs right past Heerenveen, so from De Greiden, Skoatterwâld or Heerenveen-Midden you are on the southbound motorway within minutes. Around the Sieversstraat in the centre access is limited; there the driver picks a spot to pull up.
