The road to Schiphol begins on the A31, which brings you from Franeker to Zurich, where the A7 climbs onto the Afsluitdijk. Beyond the dam, at Den Oever, the driver stays on the A7 through West-Friesland, past Hoorn and Purmerend, finally reaching the A4 to the departure hall via the A8 or the northern A10 ring.

Does the ride from Franeker really cross the Afsluitdijk?+
