Your ride from Beetsterzwaag

Beetsterzwaag is the leafy estate village in the Friese wouden, main town of the Opsterland municipality, known for its stately avenues, country estates and the nearby Beetsterzwaag-Olterterp nature area. From the Friese wouden it's 152 kilometres to Schiphol, about two hours' drive outside rush hour.

The four classes cost from Olterterp €220 (Comfort), €275 (Premium), €285 (Van) and €395 (VIP), a fixed total amount in which VAT, luggage and parking charges are included. Night and public-holiday surcharges don't exist, so a night ride from the Lyndensteyn estate costs the same as during the day.

The reservation from the Friese wouden you make at the latest 1 hour ahead and settle online, which fixes the ride and the price.

From Beetsterzwaag your driver rides via the N381 to the A7 at Drachten, and takes it towards the south-west past Heerenveen and Joure. From the A7 it goes over the A6 past Lemmer and Emmeloord through the Noordoostpolder and Flevoland, after which via Almere and the A1 at the Muiderberg interchange the A9 is picked up towards Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange, with the A4 and the Schiphol exit as endpoint.

The ride spans a good 150 kilometres; the sensitive stretch is on the A6 around Almere and on the A9 at Amstelveen. The N381 and the A7 through Friesland run smoothly. Outside rush hour you reckon on a good two hours.

Pick-up in Beetsterzwaag

Pick-up is possible throughout the area of Beetsterzwaag: in the village along the Hoofdstraat and the estate avenues, in neighbouring Olterterp and Beetsterzwaag-Zuid, and in the cores of Beets, Nij Beets and Ureterp.

Addresses by the country estates and the Lyndensteyn estate fall within the area too. If you live on one of the wooded avenues, give your exact address with house number. Note at booking your address with house number by the estates or the village, and the car pulls up right on time.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Beetsterzwaag

Back at Schiphol your driver waits for the ride to Olterterp in the arrivals hall, at the meeting point; a late landing shifts the pick-up moment of its own accord and after arrival you have 60 minutes of free waiting time. Along the Friese wouden you're back home in about two hours.

Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend
