Leaving Bergen op Zoom you join the A4 almost straight away: from the junctions on the north and east edge of town the driver heads past Steenbergen to the Sabina interchange. There the road continues as the A29 through the Hoeksche Waard and the Heinenoord tunnel, the best-known choke point on this run.
Beyond the Vaanplein it crosses Rotterdam's ring road and the Benelux tunnel back onto the A4, which carries you past Delft, The Hague and Leiden straight to Schiphol. Outside the rush hour the journey takes around 105 minutes; in the morning peak (roughly 06:30-09:30) and the evening peak (15:30-19:00) that can climb to about 135 minutes, mainly because of congestion at the Heinenoord tunnel and around Rotterdam.

Am I quicker to Schiphol from Bergen op Zoom by taxi or by train?
The train from Bergen op Zoom station takes about an hour and a half and usually involves a change at Rotterdam or Leiden, so the two are fairly close on journey time alone. The difference is door-to-door ease: no changing trains with cases, no getting to the station first, and on early or late flights you are not tied to the timetable.
Can I be collected in Halsteren, Lepelstraat or on the Bergse Plaat as well?

The two classic bottlenecks are the Heinenoord tunnel on the A29 and Rotterdam's ring road with the Benelux tunnel. Between roughly 06:30 and 09:30 and again between 15:30 and 19:00 the journey can stretch to about 135 minutes.
