Your ride from Steenbergen
On the edge of the Brabantse Wal, with the Volkerak within easy reach, Steenbergen lies a little under 120 kilometres from Schiphol. Reserve here and Comfort stands fixed at €170 (VW Passat or similar), with roughly 95 minutes of driving outside the rush; Premium costs €215 (Mercedes E-Class or similar), the Van for 5-8 people €220 (V-Class or similar) and VIP €370 (S-Class or similar).
Rail travel takes effort, as the town has no station: first a bus to Bergen op Zoom or Roosendaal, then the train, and the door-to-door clock soon ticks towards two and a half hours. A price settled in advance removes much of that fuss: tax, cases and airport parking all sit inside, no night surcharge applies and cancelling is free up to 24 hours ahead.
Travelling with children and luggage, or departing before sunrise, the direct car practically picks itself over the detour by bus and train.
From Steenbergen the drive follows the N259 to the A4 at Dinteloord, the newer link running north through the south-western delta. Two options then present themselves: continuing towards the Hollandsch Diep and the A29 over the Haringvliet bridge, or swinging east via the A17 and A16 past Roosendaal and Dordrecht.
Either way, the route reaches the A15 at the Ridderkerk interchange and then the A4 to the terminal. The heaviest delays develop around Dordrecht and Rotterdam; in the morning crush the journey can rise to roughly 123 minutes.
Which road runs smoothest that day is settled by the driver from the current traffic picture. Your pick-up moment is tuned both to your departure time and to the rush-hour window.
Pick-up in Steenbergen
The car calls throughout the Steenbergen municipality: the town itself near the Markt and the Gummaruskerk, and the villages of Dinteloord, Nieuw-Vossemeer, Kruisland, De Heen and Welberg. Living in Dinteloord on the northern side puts you right beside the A4, trimming the ride slightly.
Business journeys are handled by Schipholride just as easily, for instance from the Reinierpolder estate or the Agro & Food Cluster Nieuw Prinsenland near Dinteloord; add the entrance or company name in the comments with your booking.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Steenbergen
Landing at the end of the afternoon, the road back over the A4 and A29 towards the Brabantse Wal can be busier than the standard 95 minutes, so apply the wider rush margin. The flight is followed, so the driver automatically shifts with any hold-up, and the first hour of waiting after you land is free.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What do I pay for the ride from Steenbergen to the airport?+
The Comfort fare stands fixed at €170 (VW Passat or similar). Above that, Premium with a Mercedes E-Class or similar costs €215, the Van for 5 to 8 people €220 and VIP €370. Each amount is complete: tax, cases and the airport parking charges are worked in, so nothing follows afterwards.
Is there a station in Steenbergen towards Schiphol?+
No, the town is not on the railway. You first travel by bus to Bergen op Zoom or Roosendaal and catch the train there; door to door that takes about two and a half hours. A direct taxi from €170 picks you up at home and reaches the departure hall without changes, far pleasanter with luggage.
When am I collected for an early morning flight?+
For an 08:00 departure you want to be at the airport around 06:00. Count on some 95 minutes of driving, so you stand ready around a quarter past four. At that hour the A4 and A29 are quiet. No night surcharge is added; you pay the fixed amount from €170.
Can I also join from Dinteloord or Kruisland?+
All centres of the municipality fall under the same rate. From Dinteloord you are on the A4 quickly; from Kruisland, Nieuw-Vossemeer or De Heen the driver first crosses the N259 to the motorway. The journey time differs slightly per village, but the price remains identical in every case.
Can I cancel if my flight changes?+
Cancelling free of charge is possible up to 24 hours before the planned pick-up time. If your flight is moved or scrapped, you adjust the ride within that window at no cost. For the return the driver keeps an eye on your flight and moves with a delay or cancellation, so you never pay for nothing.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
Yes, you pay online in advance with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The amount you see at booking is the full amount: there is nothing to pay in the car.
How early should I be at Schiphol before my flight?+
Schiphol recommends 2 hours for a European flight and 3 hours for an intercontinental one. Your driver plans the pickup time around that, with a margin for rush hour.
How much do I pay per person?+
Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.
