Vincent van Gogh was born here, and the world-famous flower parade calls it home: Zundert, in Brabant's south-west corner hard against the Belgian border, lies about 125 kilometres from the airport. Choose Comfort and the fare is a fixed €185 (VW Passat or similar); Premium costs €230 (Mercedes E-Class or similar), the Van for 5-8 people €240 (V-Class or similar) and VIP €400 (S-Class or similar).
Off-peak you are at the terminal after some 104 minutes. Public transport makes it hard: with no station in the village, the journey starts with a bus to Breda and a change onto the train, stretching the door-to-door trip to a good two and a half hours.
A price fixed in advance (tax, cases and airport parking included, no night surcharge) is genuinely welcome then. In company, with a mountain of luggage or facing an early start, the one-car journey is usually the calmest choice.
Your route and departure time
The journey opens on the N263 towards Breda, where the driver turns onto the A16 at the Princeville interchange, or alternatively takes the A58. The A16 then leads north past Breda, over the Moerdijk bridge and on towards Dordrecht and Rotterdam, until the route joins the A15 at the Ridderkerk interchange and then the A4 to Schiphol.
Traffic tends to gather around Breda, Dordrecht and Rotterdam; during the morning crush the journey can lengthen to about 135 minutes. This A16 link is well-trodden ground for the driver, who keeps an eye on the reports around those junctions.
Over a distance like this, the pick-up moment is set with an ample margin against your departure time.
A 07:00 flight to a European city means the car pulls up in Zundert at 03:00. Here is how that works out: Schiphol advises two hours ahead, so you want to be there by 05:00, and at night the drive over the N263 to Breda, onto the A16 at the Princeville junction and then north over the Moerdijk bridge takes about 104 minutes.
Then 15 minutes of slack are added. Living on the north side of the village, towards the N263, you reach the A16 a little sooner; from Achtmaal or Wernhout, allow a bit more time.
For a long-haul flight at 19:00 you keep to three hours ahead, so Schiphol at 16:00. Around Breda, Dordrecht and Rotterdam there are regular jams by then, and the ride can run to about 135 minutes. With 15 minutes of slack added you are collected at 13:30, by the Van Goghplein, on the Molenstraat or in Rijsbergen and Klein Zundert.
The early or late hour has no effect on what you pay: Comfort costs €185, and no night, weekend or rush-hour surcharge is charged.

Not directly, since a station is missing. You first travel by bus to Breda and catch the train there; door to door you are around two and a half hours under way with your cases. Alone and light that works fine; with luggage or in company the direct taxi from €185 is more comfortable and per person not much dearer.
When does the driver collect me for a 09:00 flight?
