Oudenbosch is famous for its remarkable basilica, a scaled-down replica of St Peter's in Rome, and sits in West Brabant between Roosendaal and the Hoeksche Waard, about 113 kilometres from Schiphol. Comfort is fixed at €175 (VW Passat or similar), Premium at €220 (Mercedes E-Class or similar), the Van for 5-8 people at €230 (V-Class or similar) and VIP at €380 (S-Class or similar); off-peak the 113 kilometres take around 93 minutes.
The train exists here (a small station on the Roosendaal-Dordrecht line), yet towards Schiphol a change at Dordrecht or Rotterdam is almost always required, and with the legs at each end you soon reach two hours.
Against that, a fare fixed in advance brings peace of mind: VAT, luggage and airport parking are included, no night surcharge applies and cancellation is free until 24 hours before pickup. For groups or early departures, the direct car at the door is almost always the handier pick.
Your route and departure time
Out of Oudenbosch the route follows the N640 or the Bosschendijk to the A17 towards Roosendaal, switching there to the A16 or the A59 heading north. Over the Moerdijk bridge and past Dordrecht and Rotterdam the drive continues until the A15 at the Ridderkerk interchange and then the A4 towards Schiphol come into reach.
In the morning rush the A16 around Dordrecht and the Rotterdam area are the familiar bottlenecks; the journey can then stretch to about 121 minutes. The driver knows this A17-A16 corridor and monitors the live picture around Dordrecht and Rotterdam to sidestep congestion where possible.

The first leg from Oudenbosch is the N640 or the Bosschendijk to the A17 at Roosendaal. There the driver switches to the A16 or A59 heading north, over the Moerdijk bridge and past Dordrecht and Rotterdam to the Ridderkerk junction and the A4.

For a long-haul flight at 19:00 you are at Schiphol three hours ahead, at 16:00. The A16 around Dordrecht and the Rotterdam area are the known afternoon pinch points, so the ride can take about 121 minutes. With 15 minutes of slack that means a pick-up at 13:40, by the basilica, in Bosschenhoofd or in Hoeven.
The hour of departure does nothing to the fare. Comfort costs €175, and no night, weekend or rush-hour surcharge is added.

Should I take the train from Oudenbosch instead?
The village has a small station on the Roosendaal-Dordrecht line, but towards Schiphol you almost always change at Dordrecht or Rotterdam. Count on around two hours door to door. Alone and travelling light that works; with cases or in company the direct taxi from €175 is usually more comfortable.
How much longer is the journey from Oudenbosch at peak times?
Without traffic you do the 113 kilometres in about 93 minutes. In the morning or evening rush it can head towards 121 minutes, mainly through the A16 around Dordrecht and near Rotterdam. Leaving within those hours, add half an hour on top of your usual check-in time.
Are Oud Gastel, Bosschenhoofd and Hoeven served as well?
Yes, the centres around Oudenbosch fall under the same fixed prices within the Halderberge municipality. From Oud Gastel, Bosschenhoofd, Hoeven and Stampersgat your driver first heads for the A17 or A59; the journey runs slightly longer than from the centre, but the fare stays the same.
Can I bring a child seat from Oudenbosch?

After a late landing, how soon am I back by the basilica in Oudenbosch?
