Outside the rush the ride takes some 99 minutes. Considering public transport exposes a snag: no train serves the village. You first take a bus to Best, Boxtel or Den Bosch and change there, which soon makes the door-to-door journey two and a half hours.
A fare that is settled in advance (tax, cases and airport parking all inside, with no night surcharge) is a relief by comparison. With company, plenty of luggage or a very early start, the car that collects you at home nearly always beats the detour by bus and train.

Sint-Oedenrode reaches the motorway network via the N265 or the Eerdsebaan, towards the A50 at Oss or the A2 at Best and Den Bosch. Both variants feed into the familiar A2 corridor to the north-west: past Den Bosch, across the Waal bridge at Zaltbommel and through the Deil interchange.
Beyond the Lek bridge at Vianen the route follows the Utrecht ring, the Holendrecht interchange and the A9 to the A4 and the Schiphol exit. Delays concentrate around Den Bosch and on the Utrecht ring; in the morning crush the journey can reach roughly 129 minutes.
