Your ride from Schagen
Schagen is the market town of the head of North Holland, known for the Westfriese Markt on Thursdays and for the Slotplein in the middle of the centre. The municipality reaches from Warmenhuizen to Callantsoog, and for all those cores Schiphol is the fixed departure spot: 68 kilometres, about 68 minutes' drive outside rush hour.
You agree the total price in advance — €115 for Comfort, €145 for Premium, €150 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €260 for VIP — and in it VAT, luggage and the parking charges at the airport are already processed. A departure in the middle of the night costs nothing extra, and on a public holiday the same amount applies.
You reserve at the latest 1 hour in advance, with direct payment at booking.
From the centre the N245 takes you southbound past Dirkshorn and Warmenhuizen to Alkmaar, where the N242 gives a connection to the A9. That motorway follows the coast at a distance: past Heiloo and Uitgeest, through the Wijkertunnel at Beverwijk, past Velsen and Haarlem-Zuid to the Rottepolderplein, and then via the Badhoevedorp interchange to the A4 and the terminal.
The 68-kilometre route takes about 68 minutes at a quiet moment. The pain points are halfway: the connection at Alkmaar-Zuid and the Wijkertunnel regularly fill in the morning, and it often jams around the Rottepolderplein too.
In those hours the ride can rise to some 98 minutes. If the N245 jams from works, the N9 past Burgerbrug remains a usable alternative towards Alkmaar.
Pick-up in Schagen
The pick-up area covers the whole municipality: the Waldervaart, Groenoord, Nes Noord and Muggenburg quarters in the town itself, and beyond it Tuitjenhorn, Warmenhuizen, 't Zand, Dirkshorn, Petten and Callantsoog.
Schagen station lies on the Alkmaar–Den Helder line, but towards the airport you change at least once on the way, usually in Alkmaar or at Sloterdijk. If you leave early or travel with lots of luggage, boarding at your own address is a good deal calmer.
Holiday parks, campsites and beach houses on the coast at Callantsoog and Petten can be given as a pick-up spot too.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Schagen
On the return your flight is tracked, so a delay over the sea has no effect on the arrangement: the driver matches his time to the actual landing moment. You meet each other at the meeting point in the arrivals hall of Schiphol Plaza.
Waiting needn't cost you anything in that first hour: 60 minutes are scheduled free for customs and cases. Back to the head of North Holland then takes about 68 minutes when the roads are clear.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What's the rate Schagen to Schiphol?+
You pay a fixed amount in advance: €115 in Comfort, €145 in Premium, €150 for the Van with five to eight seats and €260 in VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at the airport are included, even for a night departure.
Do I comfortably make a flight at 09:00?+
Yes, provided you count in the morning peak. Outside rush hour the ride takes about 68 minutes, but around eight it can run towards an hour and a half. With two hours' check-in on top, your driver then plans the pick-up around half past five in the morning.
Am I picked up in Callantsoog or 't Zand too?+
All cores of the Schagen municipality fall within the pick-up area, including the coastal villages and the holiday parks there. Give the full address or the name of the park at booking, and the driver heads straight to the right entrance.
Can a child seat come along?+
A child seat or booster is available on request; state at booking the age and the number of children. That way the right seat is already in the car when the driver pulls up and you needn't lug anything yourself.
Do I pay in advance or with the driver?+
Settling happens directly online at the moment of booking, so before the ride takes place. The driver needn't take any money along the way and the amount you paid is the final amount straight away, regardless of a jam or detour.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+
Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
