You book at the latest one hour before departure and pay directly online. So for whoever travels on to a flight after a week at the seaside, the price is fixed on arrival.
The ride begins on the N9, the through road along the dune edge towards Alkmaar. Around that city you join the A9, which runs south past Heiloo, Castricum and Uitgeest, then past Beverwijk and through the Velsertunnel below the North Sea Canal.
On the other side follow Velsen-Zuid and Haarlem, and at the Rottepolderplein interchange the road points towards Badhoevedorp and the A4 to the terminal. That's 57 kilometres and about 53 minutes outside rush hour.
The clear bottleneck is the Velsertunnel: with congestion or maintenance everything jams there and it can rise to 77 minutes. The N9 at Alkmaar is also sometimes at a standstill in the morning. If the tunnel is closed, the ride goes over the A8 and the Coentunnel towards Amsterdam and further over the A10 and the A4.
Pick-up in Schoorl
Pick-up happens in the village around the Heereweg and the Klimduin, but just as readily in Groet, Catrijp, Aagtdorp, Hargen and Camperduin, where there are many holiday homes and campsites. For a stay address give the house number or the plot name of the park, then the driver needn't search among the thickets.
This part of the dune region has no train station: travellers first have to take the bus to Alkmaar or Heiloo, which with beach luggage and cases becomes a hassle. Boarding at the door spares that change and the wait for a connecting bus.

What's the price Schoorl to Schiphol?+
For Comfort €100 applies; Premium is €125, the eight-seat Van €130 and VIP €220. VAT, luggage and the parking at the airport are in that amount; no back-payment whatsoever follows afterwards.
Do you drive to holiday parks here too?+
Yes, pick-up at a bungalow park, campsite or rental house in the dune region is very common. Mention the park name and the number of the accommodation at booking, and the driver heads straight to the right entrance without searching.
Do eight cases fit in the car?+
For a party with lots of luggage the Van is the logical choice: five to eight people plus cases for €130 as a total amount. No surcharge is ever charged for luggage, not even for surfboards or extra hand baggage.
How and when do I pay?+
Payment happens online at the moment of booking, at least one hour before the pick-up time. That fixes the total price and means nothing more needs arranging in the car, even if the ride takes longer due to congestion.
How long does the driver wait after landing?+
You have an hour of free waiting time, counted from the moment the aircraft is on the ground. That's usually enough for passport control, the baggage belt and the walk to the arrivals hall.
Is a taxi cheaper than parking at Schiphol?+

How far in advance do I need to book my Schiphol taxi?+
You can book online up to 1 hour before pickup, day and night; only between 02:00 and 09:00 you can't book a ride departing that same morning. If online booking is no longer available, just call 085 060 2543 and we'll see what's possible. Booking earlier is always wise — especially in holiday periods.
