From Bleiswijk the N209 puts you on the A12 towards The Hague within a few minutes. At the Prins Clausplein the route joins the A4 towards Amsterdam, leaving it at exit 4 for the terminal. Driven calmly you are underway for some 50 minutes over those 50 kilometres.
The regular hold-ups sit on the A4 stretch past Leiden and at the Prins Clausplein; during the morning peak the ride can therefore lengthen to about 72 minutes.
