Maassluis looks out onto the Nieuwe Waterweg: from the quay you see the seagoing ships sailing towards Rotterdam and the ferry to Rozenburg going back and forth. Behind the monumental centre with the Groote Kerk lie post-war quarters and the new-build of Het Balkon and Wilgenrijk.
To the airport it's 68 kilometres, about 58 minutes' drive outside rush hour. The price is fixed in advance: €115 for Comfort, €145 for Premium, €150 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €260 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol belong to that amount; night or public-holiday surcharges don't exist.
Book at least 1 hour before departure and settle directly online, then the amount is final.
From the quarters the car drives via the Westlandseweg and the N223 to the A20 at Maasland. Eastbound past Vlaardingen the route joins the A4 at the Kethelplein, which runs through the Ketheltunnel and the sunken alignment of Midden-Delfland to the north.
Past Delft and The Hague, over the Prins Clausplein and further past Leiden, the car reaches the Burgerveen interchange, where the last kilometres to the terminal exit begin. Outside rush hour that 68-kilometre route can be done in about 58 minutes.
The known holdups are at the Kethelplein and around Den Haag-Zuid; with morning congestion the ride rises to around 84 minutes. If the A4 jams completely, the A13 via Delft and Rotterdam-Overschie is ready as an alternative, though it's rarely faster in the peak.
Pick-up in Maassluis
The pick-up area covers the whole town: the historic centre by the harbour, Sluispolder-West and Sluispolder-Oost, the Steendijkpolder, the Burgemeesterswijk, Het Balkon on the water and the new streets of Wilgenrijk.
Maassluis has three halts on the Hoekse Lijn, but that's metro traffic towards Rotterdam, with at least two changes before you're at the airport. With cases that becomes a long route. Boarding at your own door spares all those changes; give the complete address at booking.

What does a taxi Maassluis to Schiphol cost?+

Why not just take the metro and the train?+
You can, but from the Hoekse Lijn you change twice before you're at the airport. With luggage or a flight in the early morning, one ride without a change is a good deal calmer.
What time do we leave for a flight at 06:30?+
Add 58 minutes' driving time outside rush hour to a good two hours' check-in; then you're picked up around a quarter past three at night. For that time the normal rate simply applies, without a surcharge.
Do you take a group from Het Balkon too?+
Yes, with five to eight people you book the Van, a Mercedes V-Class or similar. From Maassluis it costs €150 as a total amount, including the luggage of the whole party.
And if my case is lost and it takes longer?+
The first 60 minutes after landing the waiting is free. If it runs on further, just call: the driver waits by arrangement and discusses the extra time with you beforehand.
What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.

Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
