Your ride from Moordrecht
On the banks of the Hollandsche IJssel, just below Gouda in the municipality of Zuidplas, lies the village of Moordrecht. Schiphol is a fair distance away, and by public transport the trip quickly becomes a chain of changes.
Through Schipholride you book the taxi at one fixed total from €110 (Comfort). The 52 kilometres take around 53 minutes outside the rush hours; in the morning peak that can rise to about 76. VAT, luggage and the Schiphol parking charges are folded into the fixed amount, and a night surcharge simply does not exist, not even for a 04:00 departure.
Travelling roomier or in more style, choose Premium at €140 (Mercedes E-Class or similar), the eight-seat Van at €145 (V-Class or similar) or VIP at €245 (S-Class or similar). Cancel at least 24 hours ahead and you pay nothing.
The ride out of Moordrecht heads first for the A20 at Nieuwerkerk or Gouda, then transfers to the A12 and onwards to the A4 northbound to Schiphol, with exit 4 for the terminal. Off-peak you are en route for some 53 minutes over the 52 kilometres.
The familiar pinch points lie on the A20 around Rotterdam, the A12 stretch at the Prins Clausplein and the A4 past Leiden; in the morning peak the travel time can therefore climb to about 76 minutes. If the A20 is at a standstill, the driver sometimes takes the N219 and the A12 to skirt the Rotterdam congestion.
Because Moordrecht sits by the IJssel and the Zuidplas polders, the opening kilometres run over N-roads and take a little time. Schipholride plans with rush-hour margin so you still check in comfortably whatever the traffic.
Pick-up in Moordrecht
Drivers collect across the whole of Moordrecht: from the old ribbon along the Dorpsstraat and the Kerkplein to the residential areas of Vijverhoek and Oostpolder and the new housing towards the Gouweknoop. Addresses on the Gouwepark business estate or in Moordrecht-Zuid are ordinary pick-up points too.
Pass on your address at booking; in the narrower dyke streets along the IJssel the driver phones briefly to agree exactly where to pull up.
Areas served: Dorpskern (Dorpsstraat) · Vijverhoek · Oostpolder · Gouweknoop · Moordrecht-Zuid
Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Moordrecht

If the evening traffic snarls up, that homeward leg can lengthen to about 76 minutes.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does a taxi from Moordrecht to Schiphol cost?+
A Comfort ride (VW Passat or similar) costs a fixed €110 door to terminal, including VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol. For more room or luxury count €140 (Premium), €145 (eight-seat Van) or €245 (VIP). The price never changes after booking.
When should I leave for a morning flight from Moordrecht?+
Count on roughly 53 minutes of driving plus a good two hours to check in. For an 08:00 flight that means being collected in Moordrecht around 04:45. In the rush hours the driver keeps extra margin, and without a night surcharge you simply pay the fixed price.
Why a taxi instead of public transport?+
Moordrecht has no railway station of its own, so by public transport you would first ride the bus to Gouda or Nieuwerkerk and change onto the train. A taxi drives straight to the terminal, which with luggage, an early start or a family usually works out faster and calmer.
Do you also collect in Vijverhoek or near the Gouweknoop?+
Yes, every part of Moordrecht falls within the pick-up area, from the old village core to Vijverhoek, Oostpolder and the new housing near the Gouweknoop. The fixed price from €110 holds for any address in the village.
Can the ride include a stop in Gouda?+
An extra stop (collecting someone in Gouda or Nieuwerkerk, say) can be passed on at booking so the journey is planned around it. For a bigger party the Van for up to eight at €145 is frequently cheaper than two separate cars.
How early should I be at Schiphol before my flight?+
Schiphol recommends 2 hours for a European flight and 3 hours for an intercontinental one. Your driver plans the pickup time around that, with a margin for rush hour.
How much do I pay per person?+
Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.
Can I book a return trip in one go?+
Yes, you arrange your outbound and return ride in one booking with the return option in the booking flow. For the return your driver tracks your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time apply.
