The logical way south from the Zaan region is the A8: it begins at Zaandam, crosses the North Sea Canal and merges into the A10 ring at the Coenplein interchange. A European flight at 07:00 is simpler. You want to be at Schiphol by 05:00, and for the 32 kilometres you count on 32 minutes. Including 15 minutes of buffer, the driver is at your door in Zaandam or Koog aan de Zaan at 04:10.

Coming from Krommenie, Wormerveer or Assendelft, he first drives a short stretch of provincial road before reaching the A8; mention your village when booking so that run-up is in the planning.
