Middenbeemster lies in the heart of the Beemster, the seventeenth-century reclaimed polder that has been on the UNESCO World Heritage list since 1999 for its strict grid pattern of roads, ditches and stolp farmhouses.
The village grew around the crossing of Middenweg and Rijperweg, where the Keyserkerk stands, and has fallen under the Purmerend municipality since 2022. To Schiphol you reckon 43 kilometres and about 42 minutes outside rush hour.
The fixed price is €75 in Comfort, €95 in Premium, €100 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €175 for VIP. VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol are already in it, and surcharges for night, public holiday or extra cases are not charged.

The ride begins on the polder's dead-straight road network: via the Purmerenderweg or the Middenweg it goes south past Zuidoostbeemster to Purmerend. There you join the A7 towards the Zaandam interchange, switch to the A8 to the Coenplein and drive through the Coentunnel onto the A10-West.
At the De Nieuwe Meer interchange you change to the A4 and then the Schiphol exit is a few minutes more. Outside rush hour those 43 kilometres take about 42 minutes. The bottleneck is at the Purmerend connection to the A7 and further on at the Coentunnel: in the morning peak the journey rises towards 60 minutes.
For early flights your driver therefore prefers a pick-up time well before seven. If the A7 is out, he drives through the polder to the N244 and on towards Wormerveer to reach the A8 after all.
Pick-up in Middenbeemster
Pick-up is possible throughout the core: around the village square by the Keyserkerk, in the streets along the Rijperweg and in the new-build quarter of De Keyser on the village edge. Addresses on the Middenweg and in Noordbeemster, Westbeemster and Zuidoostbeemster belong to the working area too.
The Beemster has no station; by public transport you first have to take the bus to Purmerend. Give the full address, because a stolp on a kilometres-long polder road is hard to find with only a street name. Then the car is on the drive at the agreed time.
