Leersum lies on the southern flank of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, where the woods give way to the floodplains of the Nederrijn, with the Leersumse Veld nature and old country estates around the corner. It's 75 kilometres from the Leersumse Veld to the airport, outside rush hour a ride of a little over an hour.
The price from Darthuizen is known in advance and unchangeable: €125 for Comfort, €155 for Premium, €165 for the eight-seat Van and €225 for VIP, VAT and parking in it. A night surcharge doesn't exist, so a departure by the Rijksstraatweg deep in the night costs exactly as much as a ride in the middle of the day.
A ride from the Leersumse Veld you fix at least 1 hour ahead and pay online, so everything is confirmed before the driver sets off.
Your route and departure time
From Leersum your driver rides over the Rijksstraatweg (N225) past Amerongen and Elst towards Veenendaal, or westbound via Doorn to Driebergen. At Veenendaal the driver picks the A12 towards Utrecht, or via the Heuvelrug the A12 at Driebergen-Zeist; from there it goes via the Utrecht ring and the A2/A9 to the Haarlemmermeer and the A4, with the Schiphol exit as endpoint.
The sensitive point is around Utrecht, where the ring and the Oudenrijn interchange jam in the peak. The N225 along the Rhine and the wooded estate roads on the Heuvelrug, by contrast, run quietly. With congestion on the A12 the driver can divert south via the A15 and the A2.
Outside rush hour you stay around the hour and a quarter with those 75 kilometres.
