Your ride from Doorn
Doorn is the green heart of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, known for Huis Doorn where Kaiser Wilhelm II spent his exile, surrounded by woods, estates and stately avenues. From the Utrechtse Heuvelrug it's 69 kilometres to Schiphol, about an hour's drive outside rush hour.
The four classes cost from Huis Doorn €120 (Comfort), €150 (Premium), €155 (Van) and €215 (VIP), a fixed total amount in which VAT, luggage and parking charges are included. Night and public-holiday surcharges don't exist, so a night ride from Langbroek costs the same as during the day.
The reservation from the Utrechtse Heuvelrug you make at the latest 1 hour ahead and settle online, which fixes the ride and the price.
From Doorn your driver rides over the Amersfoortseweg (N227) or via the Driebergsestraatweg towards Driebergen, and picks up the connection to the A12 at Driebergen-Zeist there. From the A12 it goes westbound towards Utrecht and the Oudenrijn interchange, after which via the A2 and the A9, or via the A12 and the N207, the route runs to the Haarlemmermeer and the A4, with the Schiphol exit as endpoint.
The sensitive point is around Utrecht: the ring and the Oudenrijn interchange are among the busiest in the country and jam in the peak. The wooded roads on the Heuvelrug, by contrast, run quietly. If the A12 is jammed, the driver can divert via the N225 past Amerongen and the A2.
Outside rush hour you stay around the hour with those 69 kilometres.
Pick-up in Doorn
Pick-up is possible throughout Doorn: in the centre around the Dorpsstraat, on the villa avenues by Huis Doorn and the Sitiopark quarter, and on the estates on the edge of the wood. The hamlet of Langbroek and the road towards Leersum fall within the area too.
If you live on one of the long wooded estate avenues, give your exact house number, then your driver finds the address without searching. Note at booking your address with house number by the villa avenues or the centre, and the car pulls up right on time.

Taxi from Schiphol Airport to Doorn
Back at Schiphol your driver waits for the ride to Huis Doorn in the arrivals hall, at the meeting point; a late landing shifts the pick-up moment of its own accord and after arrival you have 60 minutes of free waiting time. Over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug you're back home in about an hour.

No bus or train from Huis Doorn?+
Without a station of its own you travel from Doorn via the bus to Driebergen-Zeist and further by train. From Langbroek a taxi soon spares a change and half an hour.
What time to leave for a morning flight?+
Outside rush hour the ride from Huis Doorn takes about an hour; on top comes the recommended good two hours for check-in and security, so for a morning flight you best book the evening before.
Can we ride together as a group?+
The eight-seat Van has room for five to eight passengers and their cases and picks you up on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug; you pay €155 for it as a fixed total price, however full the car is.
Do I get money back on cancellation?+
As long as you report a ride from Langbroek at least 4 hours ahead, you rebook free of charge or receive 50% back; after that free adjustment is no longer possible.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
Do you also drive on public holidays and New Year's Eve?+
Yes — 24/7, all year round, including New Year's Eve, with no surcharge.
What if I miss my flight or my flight gets cancelled?+
Let us know at least 4 hours before your scheduled pickup on 085 060 2543. We then move your ride to a new time free of charge, or you cancel with a 50% refund. If you tell us later than 4 hours ahead, or we can't reach you, the ride counts as a no-show without a refund.
