Your ride from Lopik
Lopik lies in the Lopikerwaard, an extensive meadow area between the Lek and the Hollandse IJssel, known for the tall transmitter mast you see standing from far off. Schiphol lies 65 kilometres from the Lopikerwaard; outside rush hour you're there in about an hour.
Schipholride charges for the ride from Benschop a fixed total price: €110 for Comfort, €140 for Premium, €145 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €200 for VIP, including VAT, cases and parking. The time makes no difference to the price — night and public-holiday surcharges we know at Polsbroek no more than elsewhere.
Place your reservation by the Lopikerwaard at least 1 hour in advance and pay online, then the ride is settled and the price final.
From Lopik your driver rides through the Lopikerwaard to IJsselstein and Nieuwegein, and picks up the connection to the A2 or the A27 there. From the A2 it goes past Utrecht and via the Oudenrijn interchange northbound, towards the A9 and the Holendrecht interchange, or via the A12 and the N207 to the Haarlemmermeer and the A4, with the Schiphol exit as endpoint.
The sensitive stretches are at the start — the long, narrow ribbons through the Lopikerwaard with their bends and little bridges — and on the Utrecht ring, which in the peak is among the busiest in the country.
If the A2 is jammed, the A27 offers an alternative. Outside rush hour you stay around the hour with those 65 kilometres; in the morning peak towards Utrecht it can rise.
Pick-up in Lopik
Pick-up is possible throughout the Lopik municipality: in Lopik village, in Benschop, Polsbroek, Jaarsveld, Cabauw and Lopikerkapel. Addresses along the Lekdijk and on the business estate fall within the area too.
If you live on one of the long, narrow ribbons through the polder, give your exact house number — the approach route is cramped there and your driver plans time for it. Give your exact address in Benschop, Polsbroek or Cabauw in the reservation, so the driver picks you up right on time at the front door.

Back towards Benschop the driver follows your landing time and stands at Schiphol Plaza at the meeting point in the arrivals hall; after landing you have 60 minutes free to collect your cases. Through the Lopikerwaard you drive home again in about an hour.

No bus or train from Benschop?+
Without a station of its own you travel from Lopik via the bus to IJsselstein and further by train. From Polsbroek a taxi soon spares a change and half an hour.
What time to leave for a morning flight?+
Outside rush hour the ride from Benschop takes about an hour; on top comes the recommended good two hours for check-in and security, so for a morning flight you best book the evening before.
Can we ride together as a group?+
The eight-seat Van has room for five to eight passengers and their cases and picks you up at the Lopikerwaard; you pay €145 for it as a fixed total price, however full the car is.
Do I get money back on cancellation?+
As long as you report a ride from Polsbroek at least 4 hours ahead, you rebook free of charge or receive 50% back; after that free adjustment is no longer possible.
Can my dog or pet come along?+
By arrangement — mention it when booking and we'll take it into account.
Can I bring a wheelchair or walker?+
Yes — your wheelchair or walker travels free of charge. If it's too big for the boot, mention it when booking so a suitable vehicle can be scheduled. On request we can also arrange a wheelchair-accessible taxi.
