* Comparison with the Dutch legal maximum taxi tariffs 2026 (passenger car: €4,31 start + €3,17/km + €0,52/min, wetten.overheid.nl), calculated over the usual off-peak travel time. Street taxis may charge less than the maximum; actual savings vary per ride. Full calculation per city.
Your ride from Leusden
Leusden grew from the 1970s into a spacious residential municipality within sight of Amersfoort, with the Hamershof as its shopping heart and the woods of Den Treek and the Leusderheide on the south side. Achterveld and Stoutenburg belong to it as village cores.
The counter stops at 70 kilometres towards the airport, good for about 61 minutes as long as it's quiet on the road. What that ride costs you know beforehand: €120 in Comfort, €150 in Premium, €155 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €265 in VIP.
VAT, luggage and the parking money at Schiphol are in that amount, and at night or on a public holiday no surcharge applies. Booking is possible up to 1 hour before the pick-up time, with direct online payment.
The A28 runs along the edge of the municipality, so from the Hamersveldseweg or the Groene Zoom the car is quickly on the motorway at the Leusden-Zuid exit. Northbound past Amersfoort follows the Hoevelaken interchange, where the A1 towards the west begins.
From there it goes past Baarn and the Eemnes interchange on to Naarden and Muiden; at the Diemen interchange the A9 takes over, through the Gaasperdammertunnel and past Amstelveen to the Badhoevedorp interchange.
The last kilometres over the A4 are soon driven. Outside rush hour this 70-kilometre route takes about 61 minutes. The bottleneck is the Hoevelaken interchange itself, where the A1 and A28 meet, followed by the Muiden-Diemen stretch; in the morning peak the travel time ticks on to some 89 minutes.
The pick-up time is set on the basis of that congestion, so you needn't run to the gate at the last moment.
Pick-up in Leusden
Pick-up happens in all quarters: Leusden-Zuid, Tabaksteeg, Alandsbeek, Rossenberg, Groenhouten and the quarters around the Hamershof, plus the cores of Achterveld and Stoutenburg. The offices on the De Horst business park fall within the area too; business travellers regularly depart there.
Leusden has no station, so by train you begin in Amersfoort, which with cases means an extra ride or bus journey. The driver simply stops in front of the house or the office building and drives straight through to the departure hall.
Enter the full address in the booking when reserving.

Top chauffeur, uitstekende rit!
Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What's the price for Leusden to Schiphol?+
Comfort €120, Premium €150, the Van with five to eight seats €155 and VIP €265. VAT, cases and the parking at the airport are processed in that amount, so nothing is added afterwards.
Can I depart on business from the De Horst business park?+
Yes, pick-up at an office building is common. Give the company address and any invoicing details at booking; the fixed price makes the cost clear for the records straight away.
Do I have to go to Amersfoort myself for the train?+
That's not needed. The driver drives straight through from your own address to the airport, so the ride to the station and the change on the way fall away entirely.
What if I have to rebook my trip?+
Report it at the latest 4 hours before the agreed pick-up time. The ride then moves without cost to a new time, or 50% of the amount paid is booked back.
How early is the car ready for a morning flight?+
For a departure at 07:00 pick-up is usually around a quarter to four: 61 minutes' driving outside rush hour, plus a good two hours for check-in and security, plus some margin.
Can I get a child seat for the ride to Schiphol?+
Yes. When booking, mention that you need a child seat or booster and for which age — your driver will have the right seat ready.
Can I pay with iDEAL or credit card?+
Yes, you pay online in advance with iDEAL, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The amount you see at booking is the full amount — there is nothing to pay in the car.
Where does the taxi drop me off at Schiphol?+
Your driver drops you off at the departure hall, as close to your check-in as possible. Schiphol's parking and pick-up fees are already included in your fixed price.
