The trip is short, roughly 15 kilometres. From Nieuw-Vennep the driver heads out along the N207 (Leimuiderweg) to the A4 at the Nieuw-Vennep junction, then follows the A4 northbound to the Schiphol exit. The weak spot is the A4 itself: between Burgerveen and the De Hoek interchange the traffic regularly slows to a crawl during the morning rush (roughly 7:00-9:00) and the evening rush (16:30-18:30), and Rijkswaterstaat carried out major maintenance here in the summer of 2025 and the spring of 2026, so further follow-up works cannot be ruled out.
In the rush hour the journey can therefore stretch to around 30 minutes, and your pick-up time is set with that in mind. If the N207 is backed up, the driver can instead leave Getsewoud on the N205 (Drie Merenweg) towards Hoofddorp and rejoin the A4 further north.
