Your route and departure time
Oldenzaal sits directly on the A1, and that motorway is at once the main artery to the west. The driver passes Hengelo and Deventer, then Apeldoorn and Amersfoort, until the route bends towards Amsterdam at the Eemnes interchange and reaches the A4 to the terminal via the A10 ring or the Diemen interchange.
Outside the rush hour this takes around 137 minutes. The greatest risk of delay sits, as ever on this corridor, on the A1 between Apeldoorn and Amersfoort and around the Hoevelaken interchange, where peak-hour queues can push the travel time towards 179 minutes.

For an intercontinental flight at 19:00 everything moves forward. You want to be at Schiphol 3 hours ahead, at 16:00, and in the afternoon rush the A1 between Apeldoorn and Amersfoort, with the Hoevelaken interchange, can stretch the ride to around 179 minutes.
The car is then at your door at 12:45, including 15 minutes of slack. If the A1 is shut altogether, a diversion via the A28 past Zwolle is possible. Travelling on business from De Hazewinkel or Jufferbeek, put the company name in your booking.
The hour of departure does not change the fixed fare of €245 in Comfort; nights, weekends and rush hour all cost the same.
Pickup in and around Oldenzaal
Pick-ups cover every Oldenzaal district: De Thij and Zuid-Berghuizen, De Essen, and the streets around the historic centre. The hamlets within the municipality share the same fixed price. In the morning or evening peak that can grow to around 179 minutes, chiefly because of the A1 between Apeldoorn and Amersfoort. Isn't a taxi over such a distance expensive?
For 173 kilometres, €245 in Comfort is a fixed, all-inclusive sum: no meter creeping upwards, no parking charges or night supplement added later. Travelling with four or more, you split the amount and the per-person cost approaches, or undercuts, the train plus transfers at either end.
For an early flight it also saves a long journey with changes.
Can I be picked up in central Oldenzaal near the Groote Markt?
The centre around the Grote Kerk and the Groote Markt is partly car-free. So agree a pick-up spot when booking where the driver can stop, for instance at the edge of the car-free zone. Note it in the comments and the spot is clear in advance.

Can I bring lots of luggage or ski equipment from Oldenzaal?
Certainly: state at booking how many cases and any bulky items you are bringing, so the right class is assigned. For plenty of large luggage, such as skis or a pram, the Van (5-8 people) at €320 is usually the roomiest choice. The fixed price holds however full the boot gets.
How do I get back to Oldenzaal after a late landing?
Late in the evening the fast rail link towards Oldenzaal drops away, but the driver simply waits for you. Your flight is tracked live, and after landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting time for your luggage.
