Your route and departure time
From Rijssen the driver first heads for the A1 at Deventer, or takes the N347 and A35 to the Azelo interchange, before settling onto the A1 westwards. The motorway leads past Deventer, Apeldoorn and Amersfoort until you bear towards Amsterdam at the Eemnes interchange, picking up the A4 to the terminal via the A10 ring or the Diemen interchange.
Off-peak this takes around 121 minutes. The sensitive section is the A1 between Apeldoorn and Amersfoort together with the Hoevelaken interchange, which regularly jams in the morning and evening rush and can push the journey to around 157 minutes.
For tight flight times the pick-up is brought forward, and if the A1 is completely blocked the driver can divert via the A28 past Zwolle and Amersfoort.
From Rijssen there are two ways onto the A1: towards Deventer, or via the N347 and the A35 to the Azelo interchange. For a European flight at 07:00 the choice hardly matters, as the roads are quiet at night. Schiphol advises 2 hours ahead, so you arrive at 05:00, and the driver picks you up at 02:40.
That is about 121 minutes on quiet roads plus 15 minutes of slack. In the compact centre, enter your full address and the driver finds a spot to pull up.
With an intercontinental flight at 19:00 you are at Schiphol by 16:00, 3 hours ahead. Now the section between Apeldoorn and Amersfoort, together with the Hoevelaken interchange, is what counts: in the afternoon rush the drive can rise to about 157 minutes.
The driver therefore comes at 13:05, with 15 minutes of slack, and can divert via the A28 past Zwolle if the A1 is full. Living in Holten, Rijssen-Zuid or one of the newer streets on the eastern side, the same fixed fare applies. Comfort stays at €215 at any hour, with no surcharge for a night ride, a weekend day or a rush-hour trip.

Collection is possible throughout Rijssen, from the neighbourhoods around the centre to Rijssen-Zuid and the newer streets on the eastern side. Holten, part of the municipality of Rijssen-Holten, falls under the same fixed price, as do the hamlets on the fringes.

Without traffic the drive takes around 121 minutes; in the morning crush closer to 157. Flying at 08:00, you are collected at around half past three, checking in with a two-hour margin and staying ahead of the A1 congestion near Apeldoorn and Amersfoort.
That early hour carries no supplement whatsoever.
Can I request a child seat for the journey to Schiphol?
Yes. Choose a Maxi-Cosi (infant seat, 0 to 13 months) or toddler seat (9 months to 4 years) at the vehicle step of the booking form and state the number, and the right seat will be arranged. It costs €15 once per booking, on top of the fixed price of your ride from Rijssen.
Bringing your own seat is also fine and stays free.
Do taxis run from Rijssen to Schiphol at night as well?
They do: even in the middle of the night the driver takes you from Rijssen to Schiphol at exactly the same fixed €215 in Comfort. No night surcharge applies. For the very earliest flights, which the first train cannot reach in time, a taxi from this region is often the only practical choice.
