Your ride from Muiderberg
Muiderberg lies on the Gooimeer, a small village on the edge of the water with an old brink, a viewpoint over the IJmeer and the A1 right by the door. From the Gooimeer it's 34 kilometres to Schiphol, about half an hour's drive outside rush hour.
With the brink comes one fixed amount — Comfort €65, Premium €80, the eight-seat Van €85 and VIP €115 — in which VAT, cases and the parking charges at Schiphol are already counted. Night and public-holiday surcharges don't exist, so a night ride from the Googweg costs the same as during the day.
The reservation from the Gooimeer you make at the latest 1 hour ahead and settle online, which fixes the ride and the price.
From Muiderberg the ascent to the A1 is short: via the Googweg and the connection at the Muiderberg interchange you're on the motorway within a few minutes. From there it goes westbound past Muiden and Diemen, after which at the Diemen interchange the A9 is picked up towards Amstelveen and the Badhoevedorp interchange, where the A4 gives the Schiphol exit.
The sensitive stretch is between Muiden and Diemen: there all the morning traffic towards Amsterdam converges and the ride can rise towards three quarters of an hour. The widened A1 and the new bridges at Muiden have improved that, but in the peak it stays a matter of watching out.
If the A1 is at a standstill, the driver can divert south via the A9 at Bussum. Outside rush hour you stay well within the half hour.
Pick-up in Muiderberg
Pick-up is possible throughout Muiderberg: around the brink and the Dorpsstraat, on the villa side towards the Gooimeer, and on the new-build at the edge of the village. Addresses on the Googweg and by the marina fall within the area too.
If you live on one of the narrow streets by the old core, give your exact house number. Note at booking your address with house number around the brink or the Googweg, and the car pulls up right on time.
