Your ride from Heiloo
Heiloo is a leafy commuter village between Alkmaar and the dunes of Egmond, with old avenues, the Witte Kerk and the Willibrordus estate as landmarks. Flying from Schiphol means travelling 46 kilometres from here, about 44 minutes outside rush hour.
Schipholride handles that ride for a fixed total price known in advance: €80 in Comfort, €100 in Premium, €105 for the Van (5-8 people) and €185 for VIP. Everything is in that amount: VAT, luggage and the parking charges at Schiphol.
There is no night surcharge, so a ride at 04:00 costs exactly as much as one in the middle of the day. You book at least 1 hour ahead and pay directly online, so nothing needs sorting out along the way.
From Heiloo the ride begins over the Kennemerstraatweg or the Kanaalweg, after which your driver joins the A9 near Akersloot via the Boekelermeer. The A9 heads south past Uitgeest and Heemskerk; at the split the driver chooses between the Wijkertunnel on the A9 or the Velsertunnel via the A22, depending on the live traffic.
After Velsen both routes rejoin towards the Rottepolderplein near Haarlem, after which the A9 runs on to the Badhoevedorp interchange and the A4 with the Schiphol exit. Without a jam you cover those 46 kilometres in about 44 minutes.
In the morning peak the journey can rise towards 64 minutes, mainly through congestion at the tunnels and on the A9 between Uitgeest and Beverwijk. The planning allows for that: if your pick-up falls in the peak, it's set more generously so you never arrive at Schiphol tight for time.
Pick-up in Heiloo
You'll be picked up everywhere in Heiloo: in older quarters such as Plan Oost, Boekenstein and Termijen, in Ypestein on the east side and in the new-build of Zuiderloo between the Kennemerstraatweg and the Westerweg.
An address by the station or a business on the Boekelermeer is no problem either; give your full address when booking. Heiloo has its own NS station, but towards Schiphol you have to change at least once by train.
A taxi from the front door spares that lugging of cases, especially early in the morning.

Vriendelijke gast, rijdt fantastisch.
Excellent service for our trip from Schipol airport to Spijkenisse. Communication from the driver was excellent and we managed to arrange a earlier pick up based on his knowledge of how long the immigration queue would be. Very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend

Frequently asked questions
What does the taxi to the airport cost?+
In Comfort you pay €80, in Premium €100; the Van seating five to eight is €105 and VIP €185. These are fixed total prices: VAT, luggage and parking at Schiphol are in it, with no night surcharge or other amount on top.
How early am I picked up for a morning flight from Schiphol?+
Work back from your desired arrival time: a good two hours before departure for check-in plus about 44 minutes' driving from Heiloo. For a 07:00 flight that comes out at a pick-up around 04:15. Driving that early costs nothing extra, as there's no night surcharge.
Can I take the train from Heiloo station to Schiphol instead?+
You can, but not directly: you change at least once on the way, for example in Uitgeest or Amsterdam Sloterdijk. With cases, children or an early departure a door-to-door taxi is often the calmer choice.
We're travelling with seven people, does that fit in one car?+
Yes. The Van, a Mercedes V-Class or similar, seats five to eight people with luggage and costs €105 from Heiloo as a fixed total price. So the whole party travels together and you pay less than for two separate cars.
What if the aircraft lands late?+
Your driver follows the flight status and adjusts the pick-up moment to the actual landing time. After landing there's also 60 minutes of free waiting time, ample for passport control and the baggage belt, at no extra cost.
How much do I pay per person?+
Nothing extra: the fixed price is per ride, not per person. Whether you travel alone or with four people in a Comfort, the amount stays the same.
Can I book a return trip in one go?+
Yes, you arrange your outbound and return ride in one booking with the return option in the booking flow. For the return your driver tracks your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting time apply.
Do I get an invoice with VAT for my ride?+
Yes. Book in your company's name and you receive an invoice with a VAT specification — useful for your records or expense claim.
