Your ride from Middelie
Middelie is an elongated ribbon village in the Zeevang, some five kilometres north-east of Purmerend and part of the Edam-Volendam municipality. Over six hundred residents live along one winding road that runs via Zijvend, the Edammerdijkje and Axwijk to the Purmerringvaart, with the meadow-bird polder around it.
From here it's 46 kilometres to Schiphol and about 47 minutes' drive outside rush hour. The rates are fixed: €80 in Comfort, €100 in Premium, €105 for the Van (5-8 seats) and €185 for VIP. VAT, cases and the parking at the airport are in that amount, and at night or on a public holiday you pay exactly the same.
Reservation is possible up to at least 1 hour before departure, with direct payment online.
The first kilometres go over narrow polder roads. Your driver rides the ribbon out towards the Purmerringvaart and Purmerend, or eastbound to the N247 at Warder. The fastest variant runs via Purmerend: there you take the N244 and immediately after the A7 towards the Zaandam interchange.
From that point it's A8, Coenplein, Coentunnel, A10-West and at De Nieuwe Meer the A4 to the Schiphol exit. Forty-six kilometres together, about 47 minutes outside rush hour. In the morning peak traffic backs up from the Purmerend connection onto the A7 and the journey rises towards 69 minutes; that's exactly the reason to leave before the congestion for a flight before nine.
If the A7 is jammed solid, your driver goes via Edam and the N247 through Waterland to Het Schouw. And because the polder roads around the village are narrow in the dark, the first stretch is realistically factored in.
Pick-up in Middelie
Pick-up is possible anywhere along the ribbon: at the church, in the bend by Axwijk, on the Edammerdijkje and by the farms towards Zijvend. Addresses in neighbouring Warder and the yards on the canal belong to the area too.
Because house numbers here are spread over a couple of kilometres, a full address in the booking matters; then the driver heads straight to the right gate. Public transport is limited to the bus over the N247, so for a flight in the early morning boarding at your own door is the most practical.

Can I reach the airport by public transport too?+
You can, but it costs time: first the bus to Purmerend or Edam, then on by train with a change. With luggage or early in the morning especially, a taxi drives straight through in one go.
Can I book on business with an invoice in the company name?+

What if my flight is cancelled at the last moment?+
