Whoever flies from here covers a fair stretch of the Netherlands: 106 kilometres to the airport, about 96 minutes' drive outside rush hour.

The ride begins on the Hoofdstraat or the Dorpsstraat and runs via the N309 to the A50, the motorway that cuts through the Veluwe lengthwise. Southbound past Vaassen and Apeldoorn the A1 is picked up at the Beekbergen interchange towards Amersfoort.
Then follows the familiar route: the Hoevelaken interchange, past Amersfoort and Baarn, the Eemnes interchange, Naarden and Muiden to the Diemen interchange, where the A9 takes over. Via the Gaasperdammertunnel and Amstelveen the car reaches the Badhoevedorp interchange, the A4 and the exit to the terminal.
Those 106 kilometres ask about 96 minutes outside rush hour. If there's morning congestion between Amersfoort and Muiderberg, it rises to around 124 minutes. An alternative runs northerly: over the A50 towards Zwolle and then the A28 past Nunspeet and Harderwijk, handy when there's been an accident on the A1.
Pick-up in Epe
Pick-up happens throughout Epe — from the centre around the Markt to the Burgerenk and Vegtelarij quarters — and just as readily in Vaassen, Emst and Oene. Holiday addresses at the parks along the wood edge fall within the area too; then mention the cabin or chalet number.
The municipality has no train station: travellers now first drive to Apeldoorn or Zwolle and change there. With luggage, children or an early departure that's a roundabout start to the holiday. The driver stops at the front door and loads the cases straight away.
